This is that time of the year again when all Khmer people both inside and outside Cambodia are celebrating Khmer New Year. It's the year 2555 BE and the year of Rabbit.It is already 2555 years since the current Buddha "Samanokodam" has achieved complete enlightenment and been in the Nevada. In Theravada Buddhism, the legend has that, every year one of the chief Theravada Kabelmahaprom"'s seven daughters will replace her sister as the new year's Theravada. Her job is to look after all lives on earth. The seven daughters of the chief Theravada are associated with seven different days of the week. The New Year Theravada is determined by the first day on which each new year takes place. This first day of the new year is called "Sunkran" day. Below is the list of the Theravadas' names and their associated day of the week.

This weekend is the house party weekend at
Bucknell University. House party is an event celebrated every year after spring break at Bucknell University to allow students to party together after hardworking almost two semesters of academics on each year. However, the theme of this event has been translated and dedicated mostly towards massed drinkings, especially for Greek members. Despite being one of the Greek members, over this weekend I has studied for exams, done some homework and talked to my family and my special one. I did go out with my friends a bit for some time and had a few drinks but I felt like it was a normal weekend for me except that I was content because spending time talking with my potential partner.

Bucknell-Basketball-Champion-2011
Wonderful! Bucknell's Men Basketball Team is crowned today (March 11, 2011) the 2011 Patriot League Men's Basketball Champion. I was lucky to get to see the final game with my own eyes. I could see the school spirit in every Bucknell's fan. We cheered for the Orange and the Blue. Ray Ray Ray Bucknell!
