Recently I reviewed the disappointing Hershey bar
. I'm gonna review another Hershey product this time. It's the Hershey Creamy Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut.
I wish the Hershey Milk Chocolate
was made of the same chocolate as this, because it's a lot better. The nuts are nice, but not necessary.
This chocolate reminds me of the Norwegian Firkløver
(Four Leaf Clover), which is basically milk chocolate with hazelnuts in it. This isn't a bad thing. You'd think Hershey knew how to do chocolate. And they do, but only when combined with other things it seems. The simplest thing, like ordinary pure milk chocolate, appears to be their weak spot.
I'm just gonna wash this down with some 7up Cherry
and mark this chocolate as good, but ordinary. Oh, what could've been, Hershey.

Ah, Hershey. Who hasn't been seduced by your kisses, cookies and cream? Everyone in this country, probably, as your products aren't readily available here. Please fix!
That being said, I find myself disappointed with this milk chocolate bar. It's very cocoa-y, but not like the dark chocolate kind of cocoa-y. More like the cheap hot chocolate from a coffee machine. I even tried washing away the aftertaste with the always reliable Mountain Dew
, or Mtn Dew
as it's called now, to no avail.
It doesn't taste bad, but considering the taste of the Cookies 'n' Creme bar I really thought Hershey had chocolate down pat. At least I can take comfort in the fact that my purchase of the Hershey Milk Chocolate has helped putting some kids through school somewhere
