Clean Beach Challenge, nsw, Toowoon Bay, Keep Australia Beautiful

Everything was against it. Earlier this week I assured a friend that I would not drive to Toowoon Bay, today, Thursday 7 June, if the weather was unfavourable. After all it takes four weeks to really recover from this operation.

The launch of this year's Clean Beach Challenge Competition, held at Shelley Beach was well-attended and, as always, a pleasant, positive experience. Already, there were some awards being given out. As always, individuals, organisations, councils, ANYONE, can enter their favourite beach, to be considered for the awards. More info here!!!

UPDATE: I have now been allocated the beaches, which I shall be visiting between 25 September and 29 September, 2006.
They are:

Stockton Beach

Nobbys Beach

Fingal Bay

Merewether Beach

Bar Beach

Dixon Park

Taylors Beach

Catherine Hill Bay

CBC, KAB, Clean Beach Challenge

That was a very pleasant brunch, at the Bondi Icebergs Sundeck Cafe, on Wednesday 30 November.
How time flies!!! It is 1 june, 2006 and, yet again, I have attended another launch of the Keep Australia Beautiful, Clean Beach Challenge, NSW, held at Shelley Beach, Manly. See today's blog entry. (1 june, 2006)
