ozguro's custom Opera buttons

This post helps you set up two buttons: one that hides Opera in the Tray, and the other that helps you switch Opera's identity. You can place them anywhere you want on Opera's GUI.
The first button is pretty straight forward: it's a button to hide Opera, because the Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H shortcut is kind of annoying. Just go here and paste this
Hide opera, , , Hor this
Hide opera, , , Hide Opera, Tab Group Button Collapse Skin.leftinto the field labeled Step 3. Create the button (just skip to the bottom of the page) and push Create Button. Finally, click the little square that appeared right after the text that says Button:, accept and then drag and drop your button from Appearance -> Buttons -> (Category ->) My buttons to use it. The first code produces a button that just says "H", while the second one produces a downwards arrow button. So you'll get either this
or this
Of course, you can use this extension to look for your own icons. The second button looks like this
Clicking the icon toggles your browser to identify as Opera, Firefox or Internet Explorer. Clicking the downwards arrow on the right hand side opens a menu with those choices. You can go here to create your own button. Just paste this Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=1",,-924276195,"Opera Logo" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=2",,590106237,"Smiley Tongue" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=3",,344289886,"Smiley Unhappy" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=4",,-1318171891,"Smiley Cry" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=5",,-2000624253,"Smiley Angry" + Show Popup Menu, "Identify As Menu"or this
Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=1",,-924276195,"Opera Logo" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=2",,590106237,"Firefox" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=4",,-1318171891,"Firefox" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=3",,344289886,"Internet Explorer" > Set preference,"User Agent|Spoof UserAgent ID=5",,-2000624253,"Internet Explorer" + Show Popup Menu, "Identify As Menu"into the field labeled Step 3. Create the button (just skip to the bottom of the page) and push Create Button. Finally, click the little square that appeared right after the text that says Button:, accept and then drag and drop your button from Appearance -> Buttons -> (Category ->) My buttons to use it.
If you use the second code, you will have pretty Firefox and Internet Explorer icons when you identify as ...these browsers. So, if you don't want the annoying smileys that come with the former code, you will have to modify your skin to use these:
custom_buttons.zip and
From here on, it's complicated. You have to go to your user folder to find your personal Opera skin files (e.g. C:/Users/[USERNAME]/AppData/Roaming/Opera/Opera/skin) and modify the skin you are using (and do this every time you change it). Just add the folder custom_buttons in the archive of your current skin, and then modify the skin.ini file in that archive to contain the lines below under the correct header, namely [Images]:
[Images] Firefox = custom_buttons/firefox.ico Internet Explorer = custom_buttons/ie9.png
Oooor, if you are using the Z1-Ultra v1.10 skin, you can just replace your archive with this z1-ultra-1_10.zip
A lot of the stuff, I just got from here and adapted. For adding icons, Tamil's blog proved useful as usual.
