Adopting Parent/English Teacher/1st blog finding Xiao Qing

Burning the Midnight Oil

Everyone,
I want you to know how much I appreciate your faithfulness in reading my blog. It really gives me an outlet of expression. I love China very much and enjoy sharing it with you.

BUT, my schedule is quite hectic with this new job. I've been "Burning the Midnight Oil" and have decided to discontinue blogging for awhile.

Of course, I'll still check my email. The term ends in May and maybe I'll pick things up again by then. Feel free to stop by and see if I've changed my mind. Who knows what tomorrow holds. Sincerely, Pam in Henan

Happy Birthday Jim!!!The Casting

Pam, I don't know how you do all you do. I love your blog and have been a faithful reader for a long time. You will stay in my thoughts and prayers whether you are blogging or not :-) But. . . hopefully once in a while something will move you to post even during your blogging "vacation".

Wow... I sure hope things let up for you. I don't know what I'm going to do without my daily check on your blog. Hmmmmm... I'll still check often - and I hope to see something from you (maybe a monthly update?)

Although I totally understand....please come back when you can. Your stories are so inspiring and spur us on over here in the states. Keep up the good work and know our thoughts are with you as you pursue the call on your life!! I love, love, love reading about those you're serving....as I'm walking through daily life with my adopted 3. Thank you for your example!!

I get quite tired from daily life and have it so much easier than you do. I am so in awe of your strength and energy and of your loving, giving nature. You deserve what little rest you can get. So many are depending on you, so stay strong and healthy and happy. Come back to your blogging soon, it's a good mental release for you and it helps me to see a little bit of China through your eyes. I think you get a lot of prayers and encouragement from all over the world through this blog, I will miss your wonderful stories and the sweet pictures of all the babies. Happy birthday to your brother, I'm sorry he has given up his family, how very sad. I'll be checking back periodically, hoping to see news from you again soon. Take special care of yourself, Pam!
Love, Valerie

No one deserves a break more than you! But we will miss your blog - my girls and I. I know I should comment more but I usually feel that would give you MORE to do! Please do an update now and then. We love to hear about the children, bits about China and your daily life. I appreciate the time you have given to post photos and videos and blog entries on top of working and caring for so many children!

Dear Pam,
I have so loved traveling to China to read your blog! It has made the adoption wait easier and your pictures and musings about your life there has kept my own experience in China close and real. Stay well and safe and please return to your faithful reads asap! And the same to your husband and family as well. You have been a blessing to many of us out here in cyberland!
