Listeniig radio witth windows media player in the web browser windows vista

When I was using my desk top with Windows XP there was not any problems for listening radio or watching television in the different web browsers I needed to use. I have to use different browsers because each one has its own property, advantages depending what I have to do. For instance Opera is the best for surfing in battery saving for its excellent high contrast system, and the easy manner to do zoom. I use Google Chrome I have no any problem for receiving stream audio or video with Windows Media Player. I acquired a new Sony VAIO, with Windows Vista Home Premium, and got some problems when I wanted to hear radio or watch television from a stream with the Windows Media Player. This task was impossible because the Windows Media Player pluigin is not installed automatically as done with when we have Windows XP.
I tried to look for help from Microsoft and from some websites and nothing was gotten. I went to port25 website and downloaded the WMP plugin, after installed automatically, but anyway this task did not work properly. I could not hear my loved radio stations. The only fast way for listening radio is using Google Chrome web browser. Why Google Chrome work well because this browser does active system, not plugin.
If wish to use your loved browser, for instance Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari or other one you liked, then you need to install the plugin manually. How you can do this? It is very easy to do.
