Well, since I just started this group, and I've got no members, kind of hard to put all of that into words. My name is Justin Aguon, and I'm a 23 year old nursing student. My passion is the paranormal. Soon after I graduate in December, I plan on beginning a degree in Parapsychology and Esoteric Studies from a college in Florida. I currently live in Las Vegas, not a very old city to find good places to ghost hunt, but there is enough crime to set the backdrop for a haunting ground or two. I really want to find others like me to share ideas and stories. The old saying (corny as it sounds) 'knowledge is power' is a phrase I've really taken in and started digesting on this year. I've picked up many books, because I want to see what the research tells me, rather than relying on the internet and my first hand accounts. I've really learned that my beliefs don't always tranfer over into the right way, as many young adults believe. Evidence Based Practice is the best guideline for nursing practice, and I would like to transfer this over to my Paranormal Research and goals. My goals for this group? I'm not sure. What ever will work I guess.
1) I really want to meet others that are weird like myself. Others who wake up at 3am to see if they can see or hear anything in the room that wasn't there when they went to bed. Others who breath and are as obsessed with the paranormal as I am.
2) Very open minded people. I come from a background of religious beliefs that clash from mainstream religion, and I want to hear and learn from others; as well as tell them about what I've learned works for me.
3) To discover the truth about a world that is hidden from our view, except when our antennas for the paranormal are on switched to the 'on' position. An antenna, that when the criteria of the moment fits, allows the receiver to pick up those signals the other side is sending.
4) To meet people with personal experiences and whom thrive on learning more about this field. I hope to add to this field some day, and perhaps we can work together in achieving that goal.
5) To help anyone who may need a bit of advice, because no one should be plagued with a haunting only to recieve little help or become misguided by the plethora of misleading information that can be accessed only a google click away. I hope anyone who joins this group will be willing to aid as well.
Those are my wishes for this group. Are you ready?
To read more about my personal experiences, and even a bit on my Life, you are more than welcome to read my personal blog at

One more thing, since I am asking other's to be honest and share their stories, I would like to share one account of mine from my childhood. When I was a child, and some may argue that I still am, I used to dream about a light. Now this was no ordinary light. It was a pulsating light of purple and blue rays originating at a white tunnel of light. This dream is very strange to me, and the the most memorable feeling it still leaves me with is a yearning to be there. I remember whenever it whenever wake up from this dream, that and I usually am all sweaty and tachycardic. Yet the light doesn't scare me, rather it is very comforting. As I got older, the dream is less persistent, and today I get it is very infrequent. However, when it does happen, I still yearn and long for this place. I know where this place is, and some may argue but I believe this is what ever afterlife you may believe in. If you do some research on astral projection, or if you can and do A.P, then you may know where I’m going with this. This place and my home in California as a child holds only a fraction of my experiences with regards to the paranormal. More over, my home in Fountain, Colorado was sort of been the nexus of my paranormal experiences, as Las Vegas has been kind of dry with this.
Till tomorrow
