OPHELIA'S RAINBOW

Be that as it may with south africas very controversial history, i still see afrikaans as beneficial to our education as usual. Many of our other citizens may disagree for their own part to which they are obliged And have right to. But you see afrikaans is not just something the 'boere' mense came up with. It is in my opinion a truly south african masterpiece as it is made up of a variety of languages from the whole country. Lest we forget we have 11 national languages.And to that purpose too, as it began with dutch settlers, even up til today, we can use it in many a european country because there are so many similarities. For example the word klein. Means small to both us And germans.And so forth. I wish south africans would stop takin the anger of the past out on a language rather than on the individuals that caused so much pain. Be proud to have afrikaans. It gives us mzanzi people a clear distinction And advantage on the world. Always look at the benefit of something. Dont look at What bad somethin may have caused you.rather see What good you can get out of it.
