MEXICO CITY - (AP) -- Mexico's Supreme Court has ordered pop diva Paulina Rubio to pay $530,000 in back taxes, court officials said Thursday.
The court rejected an injunction sought by Rubio, said a court official who declined to give his name because he is not authorized to speak to the news media. He did not provide further details.
Rubio has been a professional singer for more than two decades, recording hit records in Spanish and English, and has starred in Mexican television series. She got her start in the hit Mexican children's group Timbiriche.
