The invitation to the wedding of the Mexican singer Paulina Rubio with the Spanish businessman Nicolás Vallejo Nájera ‘Colate’ shows a complex itinerary where all the secrets of the ceremony are revealed.
Part of the invitation reads: “We would like to share our wedding with you on April 30, 2007, at 6 pm.”
The guests to this big celebration will be received a day before and will stay in eight luxurious hotels in Cancun.
The first activity, a pre-wedding bash on the beach, will take place on April 29 at 3 pm.
On the following day before the break of dawn, the bride and groom will be the center of attention in the San Francisco de Asís chapel, where the singer will take the groom as her husband.
The benches of the chapel are wood beams, it has a thatched roof, and there are no windows; the palapa will shelter and protect them.
After the wedding, they will go to a suitable place for a banquet a few yards from the chapel.
Since many guests will fly from Europe, the custom-designed itinerary will include Kobá, Xel-Ha, Tum, and Cozumel.
Both the bride and groom and the guests will hopefully enjoy the sun, the white sand, and the natural wonders of the Mayan Riviera.
