For my own personal amusement...

the Meijer store I always talk about has been fined for safety violations. Hmmm...like falling kitty litter? Nope. Just failing to lock their saws in the meat department.

 I knew it was dangerous to shop there (and apparently to work there, too)!

I think if you would grab one of their meat saws while kitty litter is falling on your head, you could probably have the store closed.

pauliticalmind 27. January 2009, 00:39

ah, but then I would have nothing to blog about but politics. I can't seem to get myself back in the political game. It's like fighting an uphill battle to get anyone to listen to anything but the mainstream media...because they're not biased

The old adage "Believe half of what you see and very little of what you hear" rings true to me these day!

I agree, Phantom.

lol @ ellin...what can I say, the real news is depressing. I'll comment on politics when something actually gets accomplished (or when the stimulus fails...hopefully). Thanx for giving my blog some much needed life support. I've not been getting my notifications regularly either...wonder what's up?

pauliticalmind 6. February 2009, 23:32

me too! and i didn't just mean since obama took office...i mean the standstill boring-ness of the past few months. Feels like the movie "groundhog day"...every day the news is the same.

Interesting tid-bit of the day? I was on some website that lists the nutritional information of foods, and it tells what activities you could do to burn off the calories from 1 serving of said foods...anyways, to burn off the calories of 1 naval orange, you could butcher animals for 10 minutes. No joke...that was the recommendation. monkey Homer: Doh!

Angeliki 7. February 2009, 00:23

darn it!
I will never see the naval orange the same way ever again!

as for the mess I hear you!
