R.I.P. Sandy Cat
Monday, 11. May 2009, 19:39:14
This past Saturday, I found my 3-year-old kitty, Sandy, curled up in his box. I thought he was sleeping at first, until I called him and he didn't move. The vet said it could have been heart disease, a clogged ureter, some sort of blockage...we'll never know. He was a best friend to all of us, including the dog, and he is greatly missed!
Here he is showing the puppy who's boss, watching the birds, getting caught, and posing for his momma:
and miss you Sandy!!!

It's "common" for males to have a clogged ureter... hope it's not that.

Anyways, he never acted sick or like he was in pain. We had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. Just totally bizarre.

It will be house trained, but will need its shots and neutering.

And thanks Ravo for the offer. I would love to take one off your hands, but I know our local shelter is over-run with kitties, so I think we'll be making a trip down there sometime in the next few months. You should have no problem finding homes for those little cuties!

The dog was chasing the cat--Sandy thought he had outsmarted Roman by jumping on the table. Little did he know, the pup would follow!
