Back home...

The world is constantly moving, changing. I've heard in the news about how many uruguayan people who lives in other countries are planning to come back home. Economical facts, roots, and many factors are the reasons.
Between 2000-2002 many people went to other countries for some opportunities. Even when that economical situation touched my family, at home we were agree with fight the moment in this place. There are problems in all the world, and my way of thinking is that moving is change a problem for another one. I'm not telling about better or worse places to live, I mean we are part of this place, we have our family here and know how the things happen in this place. No bad situation last forever. I knew lot of people who were not prepared to go too far, and the trip was a dissaster.
Of course, this is my point of view, and respect everyone's. The news of today made me feel we didn't choose wrong. We are not a rich family (and I don't want that), but our situation is better than those times. My job is more stable, my daughter is growing in a peaceful place (until now), my family is united. I noticed this last thing yesterday, when some friends prepared a nice surprise for us: a picnic to celebrate our aniversary (the aniversary is on 16 of march, but couldn't celebrate with friends).
I hope all that uruguayan people can come back to this place again. Gov' is planning to give some money to those who want to return here, and maybe that will be useful to start again.
And I hope, over all the things, that every human in the world could find their place. And if they had still family, to keep it united and happy!

I really thank you your comment, and the opinion you gave.
I think it happened the same of you to many uruguayan. And I can imagine how hard it could be.
Many of them left because they had no job, as your cousins did. In this situation everyone must choice, and I can say "was good/wasn't good". More if they have family.
I've been thinking in some topics related to this one, and maybe we make our own future, in many cases. Next hours I'll try to write that.
Disfruta la vida en cuanto puedas. Nunca pierdas la esperanza (de tener cerca a quienes quieres, y de lo que sea). Y si hay problemas... recuerda que no son para siempre. A veces lo digo para mi propio ánimo...
