Vacations, Winter holidays, free time...

In Uruguay we have 2 weeks free in July (this year starting in june). I have to participate in two exams in two of the colleges where I teach, and then, enjoy of my free time with my family.
Plans? I wanted to make a little trip, but I still don't have the payment of the classes, and I was waiting for it to travel. So, it's probably that we'll stay in Piriápolis and maybe visit Punta del Este (40km from Piriapolis). Cinema: Ice Age 3, A night in the musseum, StarTrek (that last one is very interesting for me).
Friends: Make some pizzas at home and invite our friends to spend long nights.
And if weather helps, breathe some clean air, here in Piriápolis, Punta del Este or Shangrilá. For next Monday there are posibilities of Weather alert in our coast, I hope nothing happens.

It's good to have some free time. Take a little pause, and recover energy
So, did I understood right? You have free time now, or had a free month? Anyway, I wish a nice pause to you too. I know last times you have been very busy.

You are right, I have wonderful things around me, and no need to go far. Example: my little princess looks so happy last days playing a lot with me and my wife almost all day. Her smilies and plays are a treasure for me!
@Dirk: Thanks too! The same that I told to Agneta. We had strong winds until yesterday, but today is a clear day, and the sun starts to shine
Best wishes to both!

Do your daughter live far from you?
(sorry if you told before, but some facts are missed in my head, sometimes

2 of my daughters lives in Örebro in Sweden ca 700km from here and the youngest lives in Gothenburg and thats about 900km. But Today it is easy to travel and we see eachother rather often!

I have friends in Sweden who lived here, in Uruguay for a time. They told me many times that european people (and mostly people from Scandinavia) love to travel, and do it so often. For us is expensive to travel, but it's cheapier to travel abroad than move inside the country, if the destiny is near.
