Van 19 días de enero, en pleno verano aquí, con días llenos de sol (recién ayer llovió y hoy el sol ya se hace sentir), las calles llenas de turistas, y con toda la locura que supone la época.
Debería estar igual de alocado que la ciudad, y sin embargo esta mañana sigo dandome cuenta que estoy un poco apagado durante el día, al menos en el término de una semana. Las rutinas me complican. Me pierdo rápidamente.

Voy a tener que darle energía a mis pasos en lo que resta de este mes, urgentemente. Retomar algunos hábitos saludables que tenía. Caminar junto al mar por las mañanas. Inspirarme y escribir un poco más. Juntarme más con mis amigos. Pasear con la familia. Al menos, mantengo mi buen gusto por leer bastante, en especial antes de dormir.

Hoy estoy como atontado, y cuando estoy así, soy propenso a meter la pata, por lo que simplemente escribiré hasta aquí, y les dejaré mi saludo a todos!

19 days of January are gone, in the middle of summer here, with days full of sun (yesterday it rained and today the sun is up), the streets with tourists, and with all the madness that supposes the time.
I should be the same that the city, and however this morning I continue realizing that I am a little down during the day, at least in the term of one week. The routine complicates me. I get lost quickly.

I will have urgently to give energy to my steps in the next days. To rescue some healthy habits that I had. To walk close to the sea in the mornings. To be inspired and write a little more. To be more time with my friends. To go for a walk with the family. At least, I maintain my good pleasure to read enough, especially before sleeping.

Today I am as silly, and when I am this way, I am predisposed to say things wrong, that's why I will simply write last few words, and leave my greeting to all my friends!

Let the memories be a cause of joy
and not a heavy load for the soul.

To rest...
To have fun...
To touch memories and meet family and friends...
To travel in time.

I experienced all of that in my vacations. I did one of my most delighted travels of last years!

The adventure.
We could travel in train for almost 3 hours. My wife, my daughter and a 9 y.old niece who never had the opportunity to travel in train and visit the places we visited. For me was a wonderful experience!

The weather was too heavy: news said the hottest places of the country were those which we visited! 40 to 42 degrees, but no breeze there, so it seemed more than that! It was difficult to sleep even at night, flies everywhere, but they were our vacations and we enjoyed a lot!

We did part of the travel in train and part in bus, and returned only in bus. I think buses were my prefered "cool" place to feel a better temperature

The family.
We stayed 2 complete days in Durazno. My wife has a brother and his family there, so we stayed in his house. I have part of my family there too, but just my cousin and his wife was there.
There's a river in Durazno, and we could enjoy the waters to refresh our bodies and have fun. Some friends of there went there too with us.

On tuesday, my cousin, his wife and us went to Paso de los Toros. I lived 5 years there when I was a boy, from 1983 to 1988. I have my most appreciated memories of my life from there! I show my family my school, the house where we lived there, the places I used to go, and a lot of things. Almost all my family (my father branch) was there: my grandmother, my uncles, aunts and cousins! Some of them went Paso de los Toros the same night we did, and some next day. 22 of my family were there. An uncle from Argentina arrived the same day we leave back Paso de los Toros, but we could share some moments. My heart was so pleased! We eat together, went to the river together, and gave life to our memories! My grandmother was so happy because she could be with most of her sons and daughters together at a same time, she confused names and situations, but her face was full of happiness. I love her a lot! We stayed in Paso de los Toros for 2 days.

Then we returned to Durazno for one day.

So, imagine my heart right now! I am so happy and find there are lot of feelings inside of me pushing me to smile, hold my memories and enjoy this life I live in every step of my journey.

My heart is happy!

Tocar recuerdos y encontrarse con la familia y con amigos...
Viajar en el tiempo.

He experimentado todo eso en mis vacaciones. He realizado uno de los viajes más deleitables de los últimos años!

La aventura.
Pudimos viajar en tren por casi 3 horas. Mi esposa, mi hija y una sobrina de 9 años que nunca había tenido la oportunidad de viajar en tren ni visitar los lugares a los que fuimos. Para mi fue una experiencia maravillosa!

El tiempo estuvo muy pesado: en las noticias comentaron que los lugares con más calor del país, fueron justamente esos a los que fuimos. 40 a 42 grados, pero sin ninguna brisa, por lo que parecía muchísimo más. Se hacía difícil dormir, incluso de noche, había moscas por todos lados, pero eran nuestras vacaciones y las disfrutamos muchísimo!

Hicimos parte del viaje en tren y parte en ómnibus, pero regresamos solo en ómnibus. Creo que los ómnibus fueron mi lugar preferido de frescura, en los que se sentía mejor temperatura

La Familia.
Permanecimos 2 días completos en Durazno. Mi esposa tiene un hermano con su familia allí, así que nos quedamos en su casa. Yo tengo parte de mi familia allí también, pero solo mi primo y su esposa estaban allá.
Hay un río en Durazno, y pudimos disfrutar las aguas para refrescar nuestros cuerpos y divertirnos. Algunos amigos de allá fueron con nosotros.

El martes, mi primo, su esposa y todos nosotros, nos fuimos a Paso de los Toros. Viví 5 años allí cuando eran niño, desde 1983 hasta 1988. Tengo mis recuerdos más preciados de mi vida guardaditos allí. Les enseñé a mi familia la escuela a la que fui, la casa en la que viví, los lugares a los que solía ir y un montón de cosas. Casi toda mi familia por parte de padre estaba allí: mi abuela, mis tíos y tías y mis primos! Algunos de ellos fueron a Paso de los Toros la misma noche que nosotros, algunos al día siguiente. 22 miembros de la familia estaban allí! Un tío de Argentina llegó el mismo día que dejabamos Paso de los Toros, pero pudimos compartir algunos momentos juntos. Mi corazón estaba tan a gusto! Comíamos juntos, íbamos juntos al río y le dimos vida a nuestros recuerdos! Mi abuela estaba muy feliz porque pudo estar con casi todos sus hijos al mismo tiempo; confundía los nombres y situaciones a veces, pero su rostro estaba lleno de felicidad. La quiero muchísimo! Permanecimos en Paso de los Toros por dos días.

Y luego volvimos a Durazno por un día más.

Así que imagínense mi corazón ahora mismo! Estoy muy feliz y encuentro que hay muchos sentimientos empujando dentro mío para sonreír, abrazar mis recuerdos y disfrutar esta vida que vivo a cada paso de mi viaje.

Mi corazón está feliz!
