Vacations, Winter holidays, free time...

, ,

Right now I'm in my 2 last hours of school before start my winter vacations. I gave free time to my student to do what they want (under control  ), and like me, they are expecting the vacations counting second by second.

In Uruguay we have 2 weeks free in July (this year starting in june). I have to participate in two exams in two of the colleges where I teach, and then, enjoy of my free time with my family.

Plans? I wanted to make a little trip, but I still don't have the payment of the classes, and I was waiting for it to travel. So, it's probably that we'll stay in Piriápolis and maybe visit Punta del Este (40km from Piriapolis). Cinema: Ice Age 3, A night in the musseum, StarTrek (that last one is very interesting for me).
Friends: Make some pizzas at home and invite our friends to spend long nights.
And if weather helps, breathe some clean air, here in Piriápolis, Punta del Este or Shangrilá. For next Monday there are posibilities of Weather alert in our coast, I hope nothing happens.

Short vacations to Shangrilá

, , ,

In few hours (no more than 3) me and my family are leaving Piriápolis to spend little vacations in Shangrilá, where the sister of my wife lives. We were expecting this moment, I finished some tasks, earn some money... and time to go! :D

I think will be for no more than 3 days (I have classes next monday), but everything is good enough at this moments, because our minds are tired, full of "noise" of yearly activities... and I want to go outside this city, leave the house for some days. I know at the second day I'll be missing (always happens  ), but right now I need vacations.

Well, I promise the photos, to post here, and in 365 (I think I will not post next days)

Have wonderful days!!!!!
Best wishes!!!!

Some arrangements in my office.

, , , ...

It was a wonderful weekend. Spring comes with its sunny and warm days, and people is coming to make reservations for summer time.
We made some arrangements at home: clean the chimney, paint some windows we couldn't before, and other things. I took my time to change some things in my office too (located at home) and made some extra space to work more comfortable.

I'm happy, because my job goes OK this season. Lots of request to develop sites, design brochures, presentations for some promotionals in Brazil and Argentina, and other things. Last week I had toooooo much work, and most of them was hurry! The institute where I work as teacher and IT assistant asked me to diagram and prepare a material in paper and CD to make an exchange with some institutes in Brazil.
When do you need it? - I asked.
We are traveling to Porto Alegre in two days! - The director answered. My God! Those days I was working in the release of two sites (urgent too) and had to travel to Montevideo to meet with a new customer. But I could finish everything, and that made me feel good, although I was tired.

Too much work makes me overdraw myself, my head works too much, and sometimes have to take some pills, because I can't sleep when night comes. My mind keeps on making plans and "designing" inside, while I try to sleep.

So, it was a good idea to work at home last weekend. It cleaned my head. We took time to enjoy the beach in the evening, and take a walk in the city at night with our little princess.

Today, I'm sitting here, in my renovated office, with the sun coming through the window, after a early jog, and the days seems special.

I wish you have a great time today. Enjoy and take advantage of the week anywhere you are.

Best wishes!

PS: While I was walking, early in the morning, I took these pics (Houses and views I love here):

Un día feliz. A happy day. [Esp-Eng]

July 8: a beautiful sunny day when we forget the winter for a while. My sister-in-law, my wife's sister, and her boyfriend visited us. We went outdoors to enjoy the sun, the sea, to take some mates to the port... to walk... to "stretch the feet" (I don't know the way to say it in english)... to finally breathe a while.

I believe that it was worthwhile to leave the work in that afternoon (in spite of being a replete day of occupations), and to give a recess to the family, to myself and our minds and bodies so that they clear up a while.

In short terms, What a wonderful day!
