It's nice to feeling well

, , , ...

In this moment I want to start saying million of Thanks to my friends, the ones who passed by here last days and leave their words, and the other ones who had no time, or couldn't come (I'm reasonable, there are thousand of posts and blogs to read). Thanks to that words, I was driven to feel better today.

By the other hand, I must tell I'm sorry, because sometimes I'm not the one I want to be. I think this is a problem in every human being, but it causes frustration, and sometimes anger. As suddendly as weather changes, my moods changes a lot too, and even when I'm fighting that since I was 12 or 13 years old, sometimes power goes away from my hands.

But today, even when a soft rain keeps on falling over the city, and it sounds in the roof of my studio at home, I feel much better that past 3 days. I'm smiling, I'm happy the best I can. I've been with friends today (more than 40 in a meal) and they supported me a lot. But yesterday and some days ago I was with my friends of MyOpera too, and found support too, in different ways (messages, comments, etc), and I feel so proud to count with you all.

In changing states of myself, I use to break down, collapse in negativeness, sadness and want not to see anybody. But a friend told me that people like me has to do the opposite: get up when we want to lay on bed; walk outdoor when we want to stay indoors (alone), look for friends when we want not to see anybody. I found that's true.

Many of you gave a great help even being so far. Doing nothing else than "listening", giving short comments, and NOT TRYING TO MINIMIZE MY PROBLEM, even when is possible it's real a minor problem. But in the middle of that situation, it seems huge.

My friends, today I'm OK, I feel well, and wanted to tell you about this thing.

MILLIONS AND TONS OF THANK YOU'S!!!

There are special days

, ,

There are special days. And there are days you can transform from simple to special doing simple things.
From last summer, we've been teaching our daughter to keep money, to store every coin she recives into a can. She did it with pasion to buy a bike. Her first bike.
Today I visited all the shops I could to know if there were bikes she could buy with her money (well, we helped with a very little amount).
Today, when I came from work, my wife and I told her we had a surprise: "let's buy the bike2, we said. She said Ok, and then she opened wide her eyes and shout "Vamos a comprar la bicicleta!!!" (Let's buy the bike), like she reacted late to the information
It was too pleasant to see her face, brighting, a briliant face, full of happiness.
She carried the money (every coin she collected) and paid the sales man. We all came back home very happy: we, like parents, for the marveling thing of look our daughter happy, and the goal of teach her to keep a bit of money to have things she wants. And of course, she was happy because her new bike.

Well, she has only 4, and I was remembering with my wife that we both got our bikes very after that age. That made us feel even happiest. It's something that can't be described with words when you do simple things to children, but they contribute to their happiness, and makes their face shine. Of course, this a material fact, but it's seen also in every act of showing our love to her. And material things, when possible are part of show we love them.

I've been thinking about this at the end of this day, and feels good.

Good night!

Back home...

The world is constantly moving, changing. I've heard in the news about how many uruguayan people who lives in other countries are planning to come back home. Economical facts, roots, and many factors are the reasons.
Between 2000-2002 many people went to other countries for some opportunities. Even when that economical situation touched my family, at home we were agree with fight the moment in this place. There are problems in all the world, and my way of thinking is that moving is change a problem for another one. I'm not telling about better or worse places to live, I mean we are part of this place, we have our family here and know how the things happen in this place. No bad situation last forever. I knew lot of people who were not prepared to go too far, and the trip was a dissaster.

Of course, this is my point of view, and respect everyone's. The news of today made me feel we didn't choose wrong. We are not a rich family (and I don't want that), but our situation is better than those times. My job is more stable, my daughter is growing in a peaceful place (until now), my family is united. I noticed this last thing yesterday, when some friends prepared a nice surprise for us: a picnic to celebrate our aniversary (the aniversary is on 16 of march, but couldn't celebrate with friends).

I hope all that uruguayan people can come back to this place again. Gov' is planning to give some money to those who want to return here, and maybe that will be useful to start again.

And I hope, over all the things, that every human in the world could find their place. And if they had still family, to keep it united and happy!

To walk, to fly

, , , ...

To walk, to fly.
Eyes that give light.
Hands that hug friendship.
Smells that turn me gentle
and a voice that causes peace.

Words that describe hopes.
Dreams that travel to the eternity.
Ideas of all and of each one,
Power to wake up.

And a song of joy.
An expression of happiness
A feeling that becomes strong
when we meet to celebrate.

______And their eyes give light...
______and wings cover me to fly...

Felicidad - Happiness (Esp-Eng)

, , , ...

Las siguientes palabras no son mías, me las pasó un amigo, y me parecieron tan interesantes y excelentes para mí, que me gustó ponerlas aquí.
Following words aren't mine, a friend sent them to me, and they seemed so interesting and excellent for me, that I liked to post them here.

Felicidad

Happiness
We convince to ourselves that the life will be better after marrying, after having a son, and after having another. Then we are frustrated that the children are not the sufficiently big and that we will be happier when they grow.
After that we frustrate ourselves because they are adolescent (difficult to try.) Certainly, we'll be happier when they leave this stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our wife or husband goes better, when we have a better car or a better house, when we can have vacations, when we are retired.
The truth is that there is not better moment to be happy that now. If it isn't now, when?
Your life will always be full with challenges. It is better to admit it and to decide to be happy anyway. One of my favorite sentences belongs to Alfred D. Souza, he said, "for long time it seemed to me that the life was about to begin, the real life. But there was always some obstacle in the road, something that to solve first, some matter without finishing, time to happen, a debt to pay, then the life would begin. Until I realized that those obstacles were my life."
This perspective has helped me to see that there isn't a route to the happiness. The happiness "it is" the road, So, store each moment that you have, and store it more when you share it with somebody special, the sufficiently special thing to share your time, and remember that time doesn't wait for anybody...
So stop waiting until you finish the school, until you return to the school, until you lower 10 kilos, until you have children, until your children leave the house, until you marry, until you get divorced, until Friday at night, until Sunday at morning, until the spring, the summer, the autumn, or the winter, or until you die, to decide that there is not better moment that this to be happy... the happiness is an itinerary, not a destination.
