4th of July 2013 Liberation parade & the Matua Riders of Saipan, CNMI
Wednesday, July 10, 2013 4:00:10 AM

July is here and for Saipan this means the biggest parade of the year on the 4th, with fireworks and floats and all the Barbeque and rice you could eat.
This year the parade was held along Beach road which offered a picturesque view of the white sandy beaches, turquoise ocean, and of course if you happen to stay the whole day till sunset, you would be treated to some of the most spectacular sunset views you have ever seen in you life. It was a great day but Mother nature put us through hell for most of the day, lol My fellow riders and I got soaked to the bone
in the torrential downpours that mature nature through at us on this day, tents were flying and tables were overturning as we were rushing to the only shelter around, while our rides sat in the weather getting soaked as well. Peep show did great though, I had never rode her in the rain as she is all Chrome and aluminum and if you have ever tried to get water spots of of those you would much rather avoid it at all costs, lol
but on this day their was no choice. I was proud of peep show she did well through out the whole parade and she amazed the thousands that still came out to see her and get a picture with her, it was a wet but wild day for sure!!!!
