wii remote, Wii, Games, fun
...
At the very cool, March of the Penguins Official Site, one can find a wealth of cool stuff including a printable poster, a penguin iron-on, coloring pages, movie clips, a downloadable activity guide, and an online game. In Save the Egg, you are a penguin and you need to keep moving to warm up your egg and move to the next level. Avoid bumping into other penguins and predators or falling into cracks. 20 levels until your egg hatches, good luck!
Play it on the Wii with Opera!
You can use your Wii remote!
I want to thank member,
CaptainSeagull for pointing out that this game is great on the Wii! I wouldn't be suprised if Lala the penguin was playing this game in his super-cooled suite in Japan even now. I hope the Wii is up for that kind of cold!

penguins, Virtual Console, Nintendo, Games
...
In honor of the generous
Penguins + promotional blog on
N+ (the best Nintendo related community on the web), I’d like to do a Nintendo related blog. Today’s topic: penguins found in great games on the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. There are quality games that include penguins on the virtual console right now. In Mario 64 you can return a missing baby penguin to its mother (among other penguin interactions) and Mario Kart 64 features a track with belly-sliding penguins as obstacles. These are great titles! However, if you’re looking for penguins, the title you may really want to see released is Paper Mario (The N64 one). In this game, penguins even have their own city. Penguin characters include; The absent-minded mayor of Shiver City; his wife, who reads a few too many murder mystery novels; and Herringway, a penguin mystery novelist! No doubt, the name Herringway was derived from the term
red herring.
Hopefully, they release this title onto the Virtual Console soon! I can’t wait! (I never beat this game; I lost my copy…)

DS, Nintendo, penguins, Cool stuff
...
I believe that all penguins love the Wii. It hasn't been tested yet, but because of the unique motion sensing controller, it is now possible for penguins to play video games by holding the controller in their beaks. This was previously impossible, because flippers (while great for swimming) are terrible for holding traditional gaming controllers. An awesome place to learn more about and celebrate the Nintendo Wii and DS technology is
N+, an awesome, rapidly growing Opera group dedicated to all things nintendo. Stay up to date on the goings on in nintendo-land, reminisce about your favorite retro games, and even exchange friend codes on
N+.
