Person Search and Other Silly Habits

I did it! I bought the Land Rover! I bought it used, and it was nowhere what I was afraid I would have to pay for it. Of course, my psycho-environmentalist sister will probably make me pay for it with all her whining about the ozone layer or the dolphins or whatever it is I'm killing with my kick-ass SUV. Whatever. I'm not-so-secretly delighted that she won't be there for Christmas this year and will be in Tibet saving monkeys or something. I have no idea. I don't really care. This people search for my dad's army buds was pretty crazy. I forwarded this article about Verwandt to my Dad, because he thought some of his buddies that he served with in Germany might still be there. He's not positive, but I guess a couple of them had a thing for German women, so he thinks they might have stayed and gotten hitched. His German isn't what it used to be, but hopefully it will work out.
