english translation:

Boss, this is Waiyim, she was my professor. She's an artist.

"Artist"? What is that?

:hat:
we went to Ocean Park last week for my birthday, here's a quick tour of what we saw.
Don't wanna talk about the panda's, they look like really sad, in their not-really-cages-but-still-jail, in front of the huge crowd of visitors (including me)

english:

My favourite visit was still the aquariums. I guess, that's because I'm still remembering my childhood, when we used to live near the african and océanian arts museum in Paris. My parents used to take us there every week-end, my brother and I.
Waiyim took a lot of pictures of jellyfishes, you can look at them here, on my photo album (Hi-res picts, great for wallpapers :D

There's big fishes with funny faces.
There's even bigger fishes with not-so-funny faces
Yeah, we won't forget you're on top of the food chain
And a Nautilida

The the boat landed on lamma's beach is gone. It was really weird as I discovered it by night, wandering alone during the ghost festival in Hongkong. I really couldn't believe it.
"But it was supposed to be HERE?"

What the...?
Rhaaaa! I can't believe it!
What's happening?
Even Photoshop is naggin' me!
Look! The cross pointer!
So what? what the cross poin...?
He's not supposed to be cross! But to be round!
Oh, there's no big deal then, just press caps lock...
See?
Sometimes, people just helps you, and it puts you into even worse mood. Sometimes, I'm a real moron...

patience

I'm kinda exhausted, so quickly:

We're just back from Beijing, we met Jié, an old friend of us (I'll make a newsletter about this trip soon)

A lot of stuff happening in Hong Kong, as they've just celebrated the handover anniversary:

Tomorrow is Waiyim's birthday (so, I'll HAVE to do my best that day)

Be patient.

Patience donc.

english translation:
what are you doing?
Uh? Well I'm working?

No, stop. It's bad. Take this money and go back home.
Err.. Thanks?

Shame on those countries who send children to work. Fortunately, we stop up to enforce the children's rights.

Stop. Where are you going now?
I go back to work. We are short of money.

No way. Children at work is bad. Thou shall not work for money.
But my parents already work as much as they can and we have no money anymore.

I said no way. Children shall not work. You shall be at school now.
I' off from school. School's over now. That's why I'm going to work for money.

No. Children shall not work for money. It's bad. Go home now.

Children shall not work. It's a shame. We'll prevail children's work in any case.

and we... What? Again?
I want to help my parents!

I won't let you do. I will protect you against all.
What? Leave me alone!

You don't realize. Children's work is evil. I know it!
What do YOU know about my life?

I'm not pretending there's no exploited children in China or elsewhere; but I want to talk about MY experience now.
Well yeah... well no... well I...

...suppose a regular chinese boy.
He is not poor, otherwise, you'll immediately think of a so-called poor communist-opressed chinese.
His family has a few troubles to make ends meet, as the thousands of same families you have in your « richs » countries but you don't want to see or to show.
He works at home, after school, he builds, let's say, red blinking gadgets for a quite low salary (for your westerns criterias). Suddently comes mister or miss "Oh my God, all those working children, Iit's a shame, I HAVE to do something, my, my..."

english translation:
I've just heard on radio that western's associations recommand to boycott toys and gadgets made in china for the coming olympic games.
Ah?

Yes, because they're made by children.
Oh, so I guess they're right then.

But ALL toys of ALL olympic games or world cups have ALWAYS been made by chinese children!
So what?

So what? So this time, it's boycott because chinese are going to get the money and not the westerners!
Aren't you exaggerating a bit?

But can't you see? Every time China's involved, "it's evil". But when western countries are involved, nobody's talking!
Err...

Remember your childhood's toys? I made them!
Well, I guess...
(*(read my newsletter about it, 3 pages to read, in french)

Was there any poor exploited child's scandal then?
Well, yes, I can remember a little bit about it.

Yeah., well, now, people are screaming as if chinese invented the worst thing on earth ever!
It's not reallyharmless don't you think?

wait, did you EVER ask yourself why children are working?
Err...
