Trip to heave and ho, up down, to and fro'
you have no word
trip, trip to a dream dragon
hide your wings in a ghost tower
sails crackiling at ev'ry plate we break
cracked by scattered needles
little minute gong
coughs and clears his throat
madam you see before you stand
hey ho, never be still
the old original favourite gran
grasshoppers green herbarian band
and the tune they play in us confide...
so trip to heave and ho, up down, to and fro'
you have no word
Please leave us here
close our eyes to the octopus ride!
Isn't it good to be lost in the wood
isn't it bad so quiet there, in the wood
twenty even less to me than I thought
with a honey plough of yellow prickly seeds
clover honey pots and mystic shining feed...
well, the madcap laughed at the man on the border
hey ho, huff the talbot
Cheetah he cried shouted kangaroo
so through their tree they cried
Please leave us here
close our eyes to the octopus ride!
The madcap laughed at the man on the border
hey ho, huff the talbot
the winds they blew and the leaves did wag
and they'll never put me in their bag
the seas will reach and always see
so high you go, so low you creep
the winds it blows in tropical heat
the drones they throng on mossy seats
the squeaking door will always creep
two up, two down we'll never meet
so merrily trip for good my side
Please leave us here
close our eyes to the octopus ride

It was a very grey day out, so me and my basil plant stayed in and had a Storm Thorgerson moment!
WRC Rally Ireland 2009

Rally Ireland came and went again... plenty of rain and cold but still lots of fun, and I got a few nice photos!
This is Sébastien Loeb, World Rally Champion, at Rally Ireland Passage Control, Boyle World Rally Festival 2009.
And The Winner Is... Was there ever any doubt? Sebastien Loeb, World Rally Champion, at Rally Ireland Passage Control, Boyle World Rally Festival 2009. Many thanks to the Boyle Rally Festival Committee for doing such a great job and for giving us excellent press access.
World Rally driver Henning Solberg being presented with a St Brigid's Cross* by a student from Abbey Community College at Rally Ireland Passage Control, Boyle World Rally Festival 2009.
*In Ireland, a St. Brigid's cross is placed under the eaves of a house. The cross is made from rushes. According to tradition a new cross is made each Saint Brigid's Day, February the 1st, and the old one is burned to keep fire from the house.

The leaves are just starting to show their autumnal colouring, hopefully it will stop raining so much soon so I can get some nice shots of them.
A Beautiful Evening

Spent the week feeling a bit down due to a couple of things, and I had a sinus infection.
Today I am feeling quite a bit better and managed to take a few photographs, I also now have two weeks holiday!
