The linux distribution called Ubuntu which is already considered to be "emerging as a leader in the desktop Linux world" because of it's easy of use and user friendly approach has been confirmed to have a serious relationship with the search giant Google. Even if development details are not out, "Google has confirmed it is working on a desktop linux project called Goobuntu". I've been using Ubuntu wich is excellent for linux beginners and should satisfy connaisseurs. The news has been reported on CNet News and coming from The Register. The news is not shocking me because this company has been expending like wildfire for the last few years and it is a good thing. Google is reknown around the world for it's search engine and approached to the web and desktop applications. We'll have to keep a close eye on both of them to see what they will bring us.
