More great news for Metal Gear fans. For all pre-orders of
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence you will get this exclusive DVD recalling the MG Saga. This indepth documentary revisits games from the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid SnakeAs stated in a previous post MGS 3.5 is a remake of the hit game MGS3: Snake Eater that came out in 2004. You basically have the original game with added content such has additional camouflage and face paint. The newest feature will the 3rd person camera which will let you control the viewing angle of your character. I believe this feature is not enough to buy the game if you have the original. But hopefully this is not the only thing included in MGS 3.5 (Subsistence)! It includes a second disc called Persistence which will feature online gaming, a first for the Metal Gear series. The only mode will feature game styles that resemble Deathmatch, Capture the flag (I mean Frog), Assault. This second disc will mostly support one against all mode, team fight strategy and free-4-all killing
. The first disc will let you fight boss from the original game, more Ape Escape stages, and a Demo theater featuring funny videos made by the production team.
But why stop there? We'll be blessed with a limited edition containing a third disc called Existence. This added bonus will feature a full director's cut of the game in a movie like style. So for those who never finished the game or just want to watch all the action over again, you sit tight and watch the whole game. You'll tell me what's the point? Well this mean you can show your friends how great the game is and how fantastic the story line is.
If you add it up, a fan like me will try to get a hold of all 4 discs (if you include the Saga vol. 1 DVD with pre-orders) as soon as possible. I did mention in a previous post that a version would come with a USB headset bundled with it. Can't wait for all the hype, it's going to be fun! Don't know the price yet, I'll have to pre-order soon. The game is due March 14, 2006.

I've been supporting it since the beginning and I'm not ready to give up on them yet! Blu-ray is one of the next generation optical disc. We first had CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray might be the next evolution. As any new generation comes forth there is always a battle of different formats, so in this race Blu-ray discs must compete against HD-DVDs. I will not go in depth of explaining both format but will say that HD-DVD focuses in improving current DVDs architecture to increase their data capability, Microsoft is their biggest sponsor. HD-DVDs will benefit manufacturers because they'll be able to maintain their current installation. On the other hand, Sony is one of the supporters of the Blu-ray brand, their advantage is the higher data capacity that can reach 50 GB. I figure that if you make a new standard lets make the change for the most advance one, I believe HD-DVD should be like a mid-step before the arrival of Blu-ray. But it seems the war will start in the middle of this year as they release HD-DVD and Blu-ray players as long as titles with high definition content. Next-gen DVDs might include Java games and 1920x1080 pixels resolution. Let's mention that Sony's PS3 is due out this spring and is to support games using those Blu-ray discs. This might mean that Blu-ray will a solid foot in the market.

My quest to get that DVD has been furfilled this morning. The Deluxe edition set was not available for pre-order anymore. It was sold out already!! The most akward thing is that the standard edition is the same price has the deluxe edition. That edition includes 2 discs and an exclusive 72 pages comic book. I happend to have a 2$ reduction on
Best Buy and they had a special discount if you bought it today. In all I only paid 19.99$ CAN for the deluxe edition + a big poster. Watched the movie and it's still the best of the year.
I was thrilled, it's the first time I was so eager to buy a DVD. I was in front of the store 10 minutes before it opened! My guess is the fact that the deluxe edition was mostly sold out made me do it. Might say I was scared there would only be the standard edition left.
I'm sure I'll watch it again tomorrow

This game will be an upgrade of the previous title
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This new edition will feature the full game, a second disc with an online mode and a limited 3rd disc with a recut of the game making it a full lenght DVD movie of the story. They will also make a bundle with a USB headset.
The Metal Gear Solid series is the best I've ever been given to play in my life. Go check

Unleashed - October 11, 2005
This movie features Jet Li playing the character of Danny, A young boy who was raised as a dog. His master turned him into a fighting machine obeying all the orders as soon as his collar is removed. He will be eventually set free, and will come to join a new family when he first understand the meaning of what it is to be free. But not much more is needed to know that is old master will come back for him and is determined to have is dog back under control. So it will be a fight for Danny's ultimate freedom. The movie was made by Luc Besson, the action scenes are great! Emotions and story line had depth and where strongly expressed during the hole movie.

Never been a huge fan, but I respect that trilogy and is quite nice to watch. Revenge of the Sith is really dark and we see the fall of Anakin Skywalker to the Dark side. Not much comments or great things to say about this movie. It's just important that you see it, and I believe it's an essential part of a trilogy collection.

This movie is so great! I've seen the first previews long ago. Nearly forgot about, but I've finally seen it.
This movie brings 3D animation to the top. Don't be scared of this sequel to the world greatest game ever (Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation).
We get the feel of the action, we are amazed by the moves and those are the kind of animation we would of like to see in the original game.
To understand the story you really must have played the game, or else you won't understand much. But to summarize we're two years after Sephiroth has been defeated. The other clones still want to organize the Reunion with mother Jenova.
Fine, you haven't played the game? Doesn't matter then it's a MUST see. FFVII:AC brings fantasy to pure extasy.
