About me
First, I am the founder and webmaster of the "Cybernightlife" website. This website currently promotes the use of Linux in the home and small business environment, and was established July 1996 originally as an OS/2 support site. The name "Cybernightlife" was derived from "cyber-", meaning "related to technology" and "nightlife" meaning "activity after hours", usually late afternoon and evening.
Second, I am a freelance IT consultant, with more than 15 years experience with computers, and an extensive knowledge of Linux/UNIX (including Solaris), Windows XP, Windows 9x, Windows 3.x, OS/2, DOS, and NetWare. I have built and maintained small networks, including the one I use at home. Before freelancing my IT skills on the Web (in 1998), I worked six years in the credit industry, in both public record data entry and custom programming and other IT duties.
Up until now, I have been consulting on a pro-bono basis.
Third, photography has been a hobby of mine since 1977! I have a profile at JPG magazine, and some of my photographic work is available at my website, at JPG Magazine, and at Railroad Picture Archives.
