La neige repeint doucement le paysage montagnard , recouvrant doucement les rouges , oranges , ocres et rouilles d'un blanc uniformément soyeux ; les bruits de la nature s'estompent sous le manteau d'ouate, le grand et noble cerf élaph a eu les faveurs de ses belles et s'est tu pour l' année à venir laissant un calme presque audible sous les grands arbres , mais soudainement un sifflement strident et mourant déchire l'âme de la forêt . Nous sommes mi-octobre et jusqu'à la fin du mois prochain un autre roi des forêts proche cousin du cerf précédemment nommé , à son tour va implorer la gente féminine qui assurera sa descendance . C'est le début du brame du cerf "Sika" ,moins répandu , moins connu que son congénère et de ce fait difficilement observable entame les joutes viriles ponctuées de combats très violents.Il est de plus petite taille mais bien plus vif et bagarreur, je vous fais vivre ces moments intenses immortalisés entre neige et brouillard , instants furtifs où l'animal s'expose à vue , enhardi et imprudent ,poussé à l'insouciance pour l'amour de belles promises .....

La magie de l'Alpe

J'ai la chance de vivre dans les Alpes Françaises entre montagnes et lacs ; ainsi je peux a loisir côtoyer les plus beaux sommets des alpes du nord , flirter avec ces arêtes ciselées et caresser presque d'une main fébrile ce ciel bleu profond à l'images des lacs qui prennent ses couleurs limpides . les mots ne sont pas assez forts pour décrire les multiples sensations ressenties en altitude mais une chose est sure , quand l'ivresse vous prend et vous empli de bonheur vous n'avez aucune envie de redescendre plus bas et retrouver les tribulations d'humains surexcités . Dans cette galerie je vais tenter de vous faire ressentir ces sensations de libertés fabuleuses , ovrez grand les yeux et remplissez vos poumons de bonheur !

Il y a bien des fois ou j'ai pesté quand le brouillard venait s'inviter au cours de mes balades photographiques , mais parfois celui- ci devient un redoutable allier, a la seule condition qu'il daigne s'éclipser le moment venu ,et c'est à cet instant que mon doigt obéit à mon œil ..... chut la magie opère !!! Après quelques hésitations et une approche à tâtons , la chance est au rendez- vous , le voile se déchire et je découvre deux petits éterlous (chamois nouveaux- nés ) silence .... grand moment entre petits et mères , instants volés , bonheur intense que je souhaite vous faire vivre par ces quelques images.......

Nuisible , voleur de poules , propagateur de rage et autres maladies sont sans aucun doute les premiers qualificatifs attribués par l'homme au renard et pourtant a bien y regarder , cet animal peut en surprendre plus d'un , a condition de bien vouloir étudier son comportement . En toutes saison nous croisons sa routes et il suffit de s'arrêter et de l'observer pour se rendre compte que c'est un ingénu chasseur ! le voir "muloter " est sans doute l'une de ses activités qui me font le plus sourire ; le voir sauter par bonds sur ses proies , ramper ou s'affuter les oreilles ou bien encore contourner les obstacles etc me laisse pantois ; je me suis déjà laissé surprendre lors de prise de vue sur des renardeaux par une mère qui , m'ayant contourné était venue renifler mes pantalons,sans agressivité , simplement pour s'assurer de mes intentions , les jours suivants elle se contentait de s'asseoir a proximité pour m'observer !!! Pas de doute la ruse et la patience sont maitres mots chez ce chasseur réfléchi et calculé . Fréquentez le même renard quelques temps et vous serez fort aise de constater son accoutumance a votre présence et avec un peu de perspicacité vous ne manquerez pas de le voir petit a petit s'approcher de vous !!! mais attention il va falloir vous armer de patience mais aussi apprendre a bien le connaitre avant de voir s'établir cette complicité et cette connivence pour que maitre goupil pose volontiers pour vous permettre de capturer de belles images .....

In all seasons we cross the road and just stop and observe to realize that this is a naive hunter! see "muloter" is probably one of the activities that make me smile more, see jump leaps on its prey, crawling or sharpen the ears or even around obstacles etc. leaves me speechless, I 'm already taken by surprise when shooting foxes on by a mother who, having bypassed me came sniffing my pants, not aggressive, just to make sure of my intentions, the following days she would just sit nearby to watch me! No doubt the cunning and patience are the watchwords in hunter thought and calculated. Nichée au pied de l'hexagone Français ,entre mer, petit et grand Rhône la Camargue est une merveille de biodiversité . Domptée et régulée par les mains de l'homme elle reste néanmoins sauvage et secrète ; il vous faudra bien la connaitre pour en découvrir ses multiples facettes mais aussi contourner bien des obstacles tant cette fille de l'eau est jalousement gardée,cachée et préservée par les Gardians et autres propriétaires de Mas, amoureux nés au cœur de ses étendues salées ......... Il y a peu de temps l'horloge de ma vie a sonné cinquante coups et jusqu'à ce jour j'étais persuadé que Bambi n'était que la pure création du monde magique de Disney ; monde de bonheur inaccessible au commun des mortels autrement que par le rêve que nous délivre cette grande entreprise de génie ........ Mais un beau matin ce songe tant désiré se réalisa et sous mon regard attendri , les yeux écarquillés Bambi s'est offert à mon regard d'enfant . C'est sans doute ce jour que j'ai découvert avec plénitude que le rêve tant désiré était souvent réalité à qui sait avoir un regard d'enfant....

Dame renarde a donné le jour à trois malicieux goupils il y à quelques semaines sous le feuillage de la lisière du bois . Absente quelques instants pour aller collecter quelques victuailles elle laisse ses jeunes affamés au terrier , mais les curieux garnements n' ont qu'une envie , découvrir légitimement l'univers qui les entoure et c'est tout juste dissimulés, à peine cachés que nos petits curieux pointent le bout de leur museau ! déjà en embuscade il suffit de rester discret et d'attiser quelque peu leur envie de gambader ; je vous laisse découvrir en quelques images d'une de leur première escapade !

La nature dans son ensemble offre à nos yeux une palette de couleurs incomparables , celles-ci sous les changements climatiques varient à l'infini,se voilent ,s'assombrissent , ou encore s'irisent tel le caméléon cherchant couleur soeur de son habitat pour se fondre et s'y perdre tel un complice! Mais avez-vous déjà ressenti le besoin de parcourir ,caresser , modeler des yeux ce que la nature vous offre , autrement que par la couleur ? Essayez le noir et blanc et découvrez des sensations nouvelles , cherchez volumes et courbes par l'ombre ; très vite ce jeu deviendra plaisir et peut être même découvrirez vous l'autre perception des couleurs de la vie !

Octobre , le brouillard gomme volumes et couleurs , la montagne jusqu'à présent clémente , se couvre de son manteau blanc enveloppant chaque are de nourriture. La vie animale va continuer , mais chacun va devoir s'adapter aux rudesses de l'hiver naissant ; la mue se termine pour bien des mammifères et déjà le chamois a revêtu sa robe noire et beige laissant derrière lui ce joli pelage d'été qui a donné son nom à cette couleur si particulière ; en effet sa dominante foncée s'estompe l'été pour passer au plus clair , ceci est plus ou moins visible selon la saison et l'environnement . les petits chamois ont pris des forces pour affronter la mauvaise saison mais certains ne passeront malheureusement pas ce cap difficile , rassurez-vous , bon nombre d'entre eux seront au rendez-vous ce printemps et c'est avec émerveillement que nous regarderons encore les "éterlous " cabrioler dans les alpages !!!

La Marmotte est sans aucun doute l'animal montagnard le plus populaire ; adorée des enfants mais aussi des adultes , cette jolie boule de poils très curieuse , hormis quelques cas apprivoisés reste très farouche et n'hésite pas à rentrer subitement au terrier à la moindre alerte après avoir émis un sifflement très audible pour prévenir ses congénères . En effet dans chaque secteur où vit un groupe , observez le comportement de chacune , toutes sont occupées à se délecter d'herbes fraîches et parfumées ou de quelques racines tout aussi goutues ; d'autres encore étendues sur la pierre chaude se laissent caresser par le soleil généreux! mais à bien y regarder il y en toujours une qui reste aux aguets , veillant à ce que la distance de sécurité ne soit pas franchie par un individu ou animal suspect ou le vol circulaire d'un rapace en approche , sachant que ces volatiles sont les principaux prédateurs de nos gentilles marmottes . Alors pas de bruit , asseyez-vous àdistance correcte et regardez .... avec des yeux d'enfants !!!

La neige s'estompe des sommets , reculant peu à peu dans les creux et combes ombragées , laissant se dénuder les pentes herbeuses . Sous la caresse de l'astre solaire la chlorophylle stimule la végétation des adrets , le vert semble remplacer impétueusement le blanc , laissant à ses pieds l'herbe brulée par l'hiver se dissoudre pour devenir substrat , support nourricier de tant de fleurs bientôt écloses ! Oui le printemps est là , mais il ne faut pas oublier que toutes ces merveilles florales dont la pousse quasi instantanée , malheureusement faneront et disparaitront presque aussi vite qu'elles sont apparues! profitons yeux écarquillés de ce feu d'artifice éphémère .....

Le Léman conjugué à tous les temps

Le Léman , à lui seul son nom évoque la magie , la liberté , l'évasion ; niché entre France et Suisse cette fantastique étendue d'eau sans cesse renouvelé par de nombreuses rivières , petits cours mais aussi son principal allié " le Rhône " qui draine la fonte des glaciers environnants et l'alimente copieusement ; ce lac est de par sa superficie la plus grande réserve d'eau potable d'Europe ! plaisanciers , pêcheurs et faune cohabitent depuis bien longtemps sur son drapé , calme , placide sous la brume matinale , mais aussi parfois redoutable sous ses colères inattendues , ses coups de vent bien souvent dus a ces ouragans qui s'engouffrent sur ses eaux , le Léman reste un unique miroir aux mille facettes modelées par la lumière et le temps que rien n'arrête ....

Le Bouquetin l'été évolue au plus haut de nos montagnes et particulièrement sur le rocher , son terrain de jeux favori, descendant peu pour se nourrir contrairement au chamois qui préfère les pentes herbées de moyenne et basse montagne ... pourquoi ? simple question de morphologie , le chamois est un redoutable grimpeur , ses sabots sont munis de doigts pointus pour évoluer en terrain "herbeux" ou "terreux" de préférence alors que le bouquetin tout aussi grimpeur , possède des "coussins " rugueux très accrocheurs qui lui permettent d'adhérer et donc aisément évoluer sur le rocher ; à propos d'observation et de repérage , je vous donne un indice que vous comprendrez aisément vu la morphologie de ces deux individus : si vous apercevez l'un ou l'autre de ces mammifères soyez sûr que vous ne trouverez pas l'autre dans le même secteur !

Si je dois désigner un animal quasi inapprochable en région montagneuse et même simplement difficile à observer je citerais volontiers le "Mouflon" . En effet cet animal "rapporté" de Corse voisine s'est bien adapté à nos sommets mais il reste sauvage à l'extrême et il est exceptionnellement observable sauf en période de fort cumul de neige et de froid intense comme c'est le cas ces jours . En effet par ces conditions météorologiques exécrables le Mouflon se trouve plus que d'autres espèces déjà en grande difficulté dans l'impossibilité de se nourrir sans l'aide de l'humain . Vous aurez donc compris que pour observer ces sympathiques "Artiodactyles" il faudra , avec mille précautions , se rendre sur les lieux de nourrissage , gardés bien secrets afin de ne pas affoler les hardes , ce qui serait préjudiciable à leur survie du fait de leur affaiblissement .....

Les animaux dans leur milieu naturel ou en captivité voir simplement représentés nous font parfois sourire de par leurs réactions imprévisible ou surprenante ; mais aussi il arrive que des affiches ou autres artifices représentant l'animal nous feront sourire ...... à qui saura remarquer ou se cache la situation cocasse !!!!

Chiffon , crépon , fragile ,insolent ,volage ; attrayant , régal de la pupille pour ses couleurs chatoyantes , irrisés ,feutrès , de jour comme de nuit , matinal , crépusculaire ,mais libre ! n'oublions cependant pas que le papillon ne vivra que quelques jours sous la forme que nous lui connaissons car une longue vie cachée l'a transformé du cocon en passant par la chrysalide jusqu'a cet instant d'émerveillement que ces jolis volatiles nous procurent , virevoltant en toute insouciance ,trompant chaque pistil , se délectant d'innombrables nectars offerts par la nature généreuse ..... libre !!!

Certains oiseaux nous paraissent très familiers car souvent montrés et appris à reconnaitre par nos anciens rapport à leur couleur , leur chant , leur aspect parfois " repoussant" au point de leur attribuer des facultés de malheur ou encore certaines de leurs habitudes spécifiques qui font que tous ces volatiles sont restés imprimés dans un coin de nos mémoires . Un exemple bien représentatif : le Rouge-gorge ! mais il faut savoir que nous côtoyons bien d'autres oiseaux "moins intéressants" comme "le moineau" pourtant pas inintéressant ; observez une fois ses incursions assez cavalières au sein de votre vie , vous allez vite en sourire ! bref partout autour de nous moult oiseaux s'activent à leur tache sans que vous ne les aperceviez un seul instant ! pourquoi ? simplement parce que vous ne vous donnez pas la peine de regarder autour de vous !!!! asseyez vous par exemple au bord de l'eau et regardez une roselière , au bout de quelques minutes de silence la vie reprend , vous vous faîtes oublier , vous vous fondez dans le milieu et la , magie ! un bruant des roseaux , un cincle plongeur , une bergeronnette , un martin pêcheur , une rousserolle ........ et cela se reproduira partout où vous mettrez vos sens de l'observation en éveil ; mais assez bavardé je vais dans cette galerie , qui comme les autres sera étoffée au fil du temps, vous présenter quelques spécimens relativement faciles à observer .... ouvrez l'œil !!!

Telle est la question , depuis mon plus jeune âge j'ai souvent refusé de m'identifier à certains "modèles préétablis "et aujourd'hui encore je revendique cet état d'esprit décalé , l'exemple est flagrant quand il s'agit de photos. Pourquoi toujours cadrer en règle des tiers ? fermer l'image ? la lire de gauche a droite ? respecter la colorimétrie ? le point blanc et plus encore ....... je dis STOP !!!!! aujourd'hui je me lâche , mais se lâcher et être le temps de quelques clichés anticonformiste ou décalé ne veut pas pour autant dire faire n'importe quoi !!!!! vous lirez sous mes images comment j'ai décidé de les composer et comprendrez très vite que même en décalé il faut garder une matière grise .....conventionnelle !

Tôt ou tard il m'importe pourvu que l'astre céleste s'embrase, s'élevant ou embrassant la mer qui l'a vu naître . Assis devant tant de flammes j'attends le pèlerin qui inconsciemment vient poser un instant devant l'objectif . Situation amusante , cocasse , nostalgique , peu m'importe la nostalgie "carte postale" est bien là !!!!

Le "Lac Léman" à cheval sur France et Suisse accueille en toute saison des centaines voire des milliers d'oiseaux . A titre d'exemple 90 000 d'entre eux choisissent ce lac entre novembre et mars pour se reposer sur ces 580 km carrés !!!!cette halte n'est pas le fruit du hasard , sachez en effet que ce lac ne gèle jamais , la nourriture y est donc assurée , deuxième point : sa situation géographique est telle qu'il se trouve sur le parcours de grandes routes migratoires avec d'un coté le nord de l'Europe ou l'ouest de l'Asie et de l'autre le bassin méditerranéen et par prolongement le continent Africain ; vous comprenez maintenant pourquoi ces volatiles ont choisi ce grand lieu d'escale !!!

Les bouquetins ont failli disparaître à jamais de nos sommets et ne doivent leur salut qu'à la volonté du roi Emmanuel III qui en 1856 avait offert à l'état Italien 2100 hectares pour en faire la première réserve de chasse de ce pays; c'est ainsi que naîtra par bien des volontés le 3 décembre 1922 "Le parc national du Grand Paradis " !!! sans doute à cette heure le plus beau sanctuaire des Alpes . Ces charmants animaux paisibles se laissent volontiers approcher à quelques dizaines de mètres mais il vous faudra flirter avec les 2000 m pour le côtoyer sauf après un hiver rude où il descend se nourrir plus bas , léchant les sels minéraux des rochers apparents où se rendant sur les lieux de nourrissage parfois mis en place par l'homme .

Le chamois , incontournable roi de la cabriole sur les sommets alpins comme vosgiens ou même pyrénéens où il porte le nom d' isard vit en petits groupes d'une dizaine d'individus généralement menés par une vieille "chèvre" expérimentée qui ne manque pas de donner l'alerte en cas de danger immédiat ou de distance trop courte entre par exemple ,l'humain et ses congénères ; elle émet alors un chuintement proche du sifflement, qui a pour effet immédiat de faire déguerpir de suite la petite bande droit vers le bas de la pente , mais ...... si vous cherchez à les revoir il vous faudra remonter vers le sommet car les rusés auront tôt fait de vous contourner pour vous narguer de bien haut !!!

L'art photographique n'est il pas que suggestion visuelle ? la perception oculaire de chacun restant une interprétation personnelle sensée être partagée , sera elle appréciée de tous ? non , car chaque individu a sa propre lecture d'un cliché , chacun décrypte différemment l'image et son appréciation fait que tel auteur ou tel autre fera naître en lui une émotion ou au contraire laissera une certaine indifférence ..... personnellement hors mis le facteur chance qui me placera en évidence devant tel ou tel sujet , je reste assez intuitif , voir "lunatique "composant en fait un cliché et le développant en fonction de mon envie du jour , sans doute une certaine idée philosophique de la photographie !
