Cold Day

A cold cold day,
When men with cold hearts,
Hurt innocent people,
with no remorse.

A cold cold day,
with a few warm hearts,
Who helped us all,
And then did fall.

A cold loud sound,
Echoed through the town,
Penetrated our souls,
Then left a hole.

What a cold cold world,
Where the blow was hurled,
A shock wave flowed,
As bad men mocked.

With cold cold joy,
They tried to destroy,
But our nation prevailed
And they did fail.
