Do you want to play Wii-th Mii?

Crap, why does it have to be this way? Every time you plan something, every time you check each point of this plan, just in this case Mrs. Fate decides to correct you a tiny bit an everything ends fucked up?!
About a week ago I suddenly decided to buy myself a Nintendo Wii. So, what do I do? I go on the Internet, I check out about a dozen online stores, I make a list with all the prices to decide where to buy it. The next day I check a local store for the price of the Wii there. The next day everything is finally decided: I've found a great special offer: a wii for 13900 rubles including two games. (I'm too lazy to translate the prices... Just if you are curious, the dollar now is about 36 roubles.) That is actually a great price, as Wii costs 12900 usually, so you get two additional games for 1000, an sold separately they would cost 4000!
Everything looks perfect for now, doesn't it? I just had to wait till next Tuesday for my sidter to return the money I had lent her. But this utopia was ruined the next day. I was just surfing the Internet and decided to check that online store I had chosen. And what do I see? The price is already 14900 for an ordinary Wii and 15900 for the one with games!! With my shaking hands I typed in address of another store... The same there..
Looks like the official Russian dealer has raised prices again! (It has already happened once in summer, Wii cost just 9900 then) Panic!! What should I do?! The decision comes instantly: I have to run to the local store and see if they haven't raised the price yet. I have just enough money for a console without any games (as I had planned in the beginning). So I run. Hurra, they have it fot 12900 still!!
Happy ending? NO! No! They have the last one and it is in a showcase. You know, some people like to take pictures of unboxing a certain item. It comes to them all new and shiny in a factory sealed box... And they open it slowly, capturing every stage on film... But here I could have taken pictures of "boxing".
The shop assistant brought the box and started packing the console... Finally, after 15 minutes he was finished. So I went to the checkout. Rather happy.
Happy ending? NO! No! When I come home I find that, as it was in a showcase, it was the first Wii the sho got, so, obviously, the shop assistants have already tried it and they've set up a pin-code for parental controls and some other things!!
That was great, I was facing a funny night in front of the TV trying to guess it from 9999 variants...
Fortunately, as I got to 0100, I got bored and decided to check the internet for the solution. I've written to the support, but got no answer. And only then I've found a little web-page with a special generator of master codes (the thing the support was supposed to send me) and unlocked the console...
Happy ending? NO! No! When I finally decided to check out the game, that was included - Wii Sports - I opened the box only to find that there was nothing inside!! Fortunately, the CD was in the console... Not so scary as it could have been.
Happy ending? NO! No! When I dropped into another local store today to see if they have a Wi-Fi USB Connector I suddenly saw they still have the console for 9900, the price it had last summer!!
Oh noes! Oh shit!
Happy ending at last? Probably, yes. If we don't take into consideration that I could've spared another 3000 rubles (that's 90 bucks!!) and I feel a bit about it, we can consider it to be a happy ending.
I only console myself (sitting by my console
) that what's done, is done, as good ol' Willy Shakespeare has written.
But what about the Wii, you may ask? =) Well, pure joy, as is everything Nintendo!! The motion detection of the Wii-mote is great, you really swing it and imagine that you're playing tennis or baseball... And yesterday was probably the first time I got that tired after playing a video game...
So I just have to wait till Tuesday to get some money from my sis, buy some more games and then let the fun begin!!
