The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

You know, I was really hooked by the trailer of this movie. A story of a German boy, who likes "exploring
" and one day he goes out into the woods behind his house and comes to the fence of a concentration camp, behind which he meets a tired and starving Jewish boy...
But at first I was expecting something different from this movie. The story, of great friendship was what I thought it'd be, but a rather ordinary one. A story of great friendship it turned out to be, but a more deep and thoughtful, than I had expected. A more serious one, touching you really deep inside and raising even more questions inside you, than you thought it would. Honestly, it was like this with me. Probably, there are people who've read the book, or who at least know its plot, but I did not. And the film struck me right right into my unprepared heart.
A great film with a great story and great acting. Especially the boys, who did it really great despite of the serious tone of the movie.
If I had to rate the film, it'd sure be 5/5 for me. Or 10/10, or 100/100, whatever.
P.S. "Pyjamas" is not a mistake, "pajamas" on the poster is an US variant of spelling this word.
