Fuego's Place

Got an intresting call today, it now it seem sI am going to Belgrade...followed by Milano and then Monaco. I'll be working for a company called Zepter, and it isn't the first time they have called me last minute to help do a show.

The problem with it this time is that it is right before we were planning to shoot our short film, and now we will have to push that a couple of weeks later. Shouldn't matter, really, might even be better.

For example, we might be able to get a red camera for a better price. And it will be easier to organize the extras. The hard part will be that we probably have to shoot it a day after I get back. Now, all of a sudden, I will not be there for most of the preproduction. Of course, a large part of that has already been done, and with the wonder of email, I can still keep an eye on what the kids are up to.

It is not in the heart of prague, but a short tram ride away. A trendy cafe/restaurant called "Jet Set." So far, it is the front runner as the trendy cafe in our soon to be major hit short film "Moonlight Sonata." Not bad, not bad at all.

About to go to the big game!

Today has been a barrage of location scouting...well, except for the late start...won't go into that for now...and, so far, has not been all that successful. Could be that I am picky, yes there have been several ok places; or it could be that what i am looking for just doesn't have a place in this city of our, ourside of the modern shopping malls at least.

No matter, what I did find today was one hell of a good juice. It was freshly made, apple, pear, carrot, and ginger, and it was pretty damn tasty. A refreshing find in a place that has yet to really take off with the spicy side of gurmanness. What I am saying, is that they were not afraid to put in the ginger!

This juicy treat can be found at a place just off Namesti Miru in Prague two. It's called Retro, and it's a short hop from the metro station.

Unfortunately for the film, Retro recently re-painted and is not nearly as ugly as it used to be. Still, it's a possible choice for filming...hopefully we can get some juice thrown into the deal
