The joy that I sowed as a seed
Has woefully refused to germinate,
Thus its purpose does deviate.
I have lost friends and all,
My back is against the wall.
My eyes are fiery and red
But my love is not yet dead.
I have been unfairly disinherited,
My countenance has been discredited
Just because I want to remain me,
I am treated as if I am a flea.
Dark and alone in a black night,
I roam the desert to examine my plight.
My fiery eyes still blazing red
As my heart sank and profusely bled.
The heavens faithfully remain my roof
While everything else keeps aloof.
I have been painfully deprived,
I am barred from where Joy is derived.
Terribly injured in soul and poorly clad
I thought nothing could ever make me glad,
Till I laid on my back in the desert field,
Then I knew my confidence will somehow rebuild.
Dont find yourself in this saddened place
Because it could your entire life deface.
Run to Life-Joy when you detect this mood.
The worst you will do is decide to brood.
