I'M NOT AN ALIEN

, , ,

Mr. Immigration Officer, I am not an Alien,
I am your fellow well-known homo sapien.
So why are you complaining about my origin?
On this planet I am a real aborigine.

Why are you looking at my beautiful skin
As if it is something you've never seen?
You say I'm loud-mouthed and arrogant.
Yes, I've got to correct whoever is ignorant.

I'm a citizen of this planet of ours.
Journeying here took me just a few hours.
I did not have to travel at the speed of light,
Or is this plane like a UFO in your sight?

Ah-ha, that's good, now you've come to know
That we're all humans who need to outgrow
Our prejudices and learn to live in harmony.
So thanks, Officer, and here I come, Germany.

I'M NOT AN ALIENPrayer Of a Tormented Soul

Yes Adrianna, I know how you feel. I hope this poem goes a long way to correct those people who are yet to appreciate the beauty in human varieties.

Wow, if only this could let people travel freely as long as it's for all the right reasons of adventure! Having no borders anywhere would be amazing, then this planet would truly belong to all homo sapiens!
