Foolish Rich Man

And in this state he is also arrogant,
Not caring about the feelings of the poor
Whose very existence he regards as impure.
He closes his gates against the needy.
And locks his heart which is dirty and greedy.
He asks his gatemen to drive the poor away,
Or teaches them what lies to say.
He is the first to evade all taxes
And the law too against him relaxes.
He splashes water on them while driving by,
Soiling their tattered clothes, making them cry.
He desires their forced adoration and praises
But struggles to retain the poor in their places.
To him they are just repulsive slimy scum
And feels they deserve what they've become.
But Mukhtar is telling you, O rich fool,
If you even had a little brain like a mule
You'd know that your wealth is a trust
And accountablity to its Provider is a must.
You should act like Joseph of the Bible and Quran:
Through you food must reach everyone.
God has only appointed you his viceregent
The distributor of his wealth and his agent.
For every needy man you cruelly turn away
Your sin is worse than terrorists who slay.
One day the Real Owner of the wealth will summon you,
At a time of which you now have no clue.
At each of His queries you will be dumb.
Your heart will sink and your greed will be numb,
As you gape like a silly ignoble donkey
You will realise you were not the owner of the money.
