A Thought & Life's Secret

, , , ...

I think, and if I'm thinking then I must be.
But what if my thought is the one thinking me?

The secret to life is not knowing what it is,
and why we want to know is why nobody knows.
The ugly truth is a lie would be better,
because everything is beautiful if not seen too close.

smilling from a distance

, , , ...

talk!
talk!
Say something
anything
these your glance tell me,
Sitting,
starring from a close-far distance,
you smile
and my voice is gone ,
my thought is none,
my wish is one,
to speak,
speak words,
words of the heart,
words I've bottled inside me,
but these words are like ice,
and my throat ablaze
ablaze by my feelings and principles.
my fingers are free
and so i write
hoping this works
but i know better
for you'll never know its you i speak of,
till then keep smiling,
I'll keep watching and writing,
from a distance,
as the distance melts away.

SIZE=6]Secretly......[/SIZE]

singularly, secretly a moment of self is revealed
entrusted to the heart of another
negotiations of tender feelings

close-mouthed and reticent and yet escape the words
not before dared uttered, secluded and sheltered
emotions now find another hiding place

that finds their resting in the midst and mind of another
those thoughts that had long been kept from the knowledge
of, but the initiated within the privileged circle of friendship

that had always been entrusted to the imagination of the mind
locked away in the recesses as though key locked in a tiny secret drawer
where all cautious faithfully stored memories, longed for desires

now shared and entrusted with a new aliance that in hope might
bring to fruition the understanding of a lonely soul
that had wandered the catacoombs of the single heart

desperation or great affection? I wonder which caused the
the tiny secret drawer to be unlocked and shared from which
much dust has thickly covered the drawer for many years....
