Stuxnet: Computer Virus and Weapon

It sounds like part of an overblown action movie, but the notorious Stuxnet worm is real. Said to be more sophisticated than any other, this malware can compromise industrial systems like power plants.
Perhaps more scary than Stuxnet's ability to mess with nuclear reactors and oil pipelines is the way that it has been targeted, and where it likely originates. According to Symantec, over 60% of Stuxnet infected computers were in Iran, whose nuclear program has been damaged by the worm. It is widely suspected that this particular bit of malicious code was crafted with the support of government.
Stuxnet, my friends, is not just some virus... it's a weapon. Wow!

We agree: Stuxnet is a weapon, but its reaches exactly are not directed to a specific nation but against the weaknesses of a industrial system of specific brand used throughout the world.
Before the Iran-haters begin once more, to sing victory, it would be better to read carefully what Bruce Schneier, an expert in cyber security, has published at his stupendous Crypto-Gram Newsletter (June 15, 2011):

The chilling truth is that Stuxnet was an attack on a planetary scale_ Period
