Gmail Mobile App v1.5 - The Solution!

In my trawls around the web, I cam across this problem but relating to installing themes. Seems some of these are signed with "expired" ceritficates. The workaround is to set the date on the phone to a year ago (or longer).
I tried this with Gmail, and it worked!
My initial thoughts are that it is a big improvement. It is much quicker and smoother. It knows my phone has no numeric keypad and the shortcuts are letters eg. Y to archive.
This gave me the idea to suggest this to Opera for Opera Mini, as at the moment I have to press function then 1 to open the context menu etc.
