And he said to all: ”If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23
What does that mean?
It means that when U know the bottom of your Heart and its limits, then U also know what U have 2 deny every Day 4 the rest of your Life. Only when U know yourself, only then can U deny yourself. If U do not know yourself there's really no way U gonna be able 2 deny anything , right? SO..the first key is 2 know yourself. The second key is: deny everything U know! What do U know? What is there 2 deny? Key nr. 3: Deny everything U R certain about in your life as living 'facts' – since there's just nothing such a thing called 'safe' or similar .It is a very Hard business and it hurts all the way long.
First God shows U all the possibilities and all the dreams that is inside the human heart – then He ask of U 2 forget the whole thing and just keep one thing as leftovers: the Pain and the Tears. After a while He strolles U by and ask if U have anything 2 offer Him.
Well...what do U reply?
Give Him all your best offerings: The Pain, The tears, The Loneliness – EveryThing inside your trembling Heart. He do not need your Money but if U got a bit of those inside your Heart, then U know what 2 do....
Give Him your very best Offering .It's a holy Smoke be4ore His Throne and it brings the Angels towards U as they keep your foot from stumbling along the Way.(Psalme 91:11-12)
It's a wrestling be4ore God when Jacob becomes Israel and the Night become Dawn
Jesus answered him, "No one who has put his hand to the plough, and then looks behind him, is fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
When U know what God wants U 2 do and yet not act according 2 your knowledge – then U R not fit 4 the KingDom of God. - you are just Religious. The will of God is not Complicated, it is not hard 2 accomplish with a willing Heart. Problems arise only if U do look back since Faith only looks forward and the final Result becomes a living reality inside the Heart. What's inside our Heart springs forth when we open up our Mouth. and speak the word of Faith This is very Important since the tongue itself is a living fire :”In the same way the tongue is a small part of the body, but it can brag about doing important things. A large forest can be set on fire by a little flame.” James 3:5
So the Tongue is a Fire but it's a dangerous fire and only Gods own Fire can outmatch it.
