Face of Jesus

Before Love there was Christ; that gives me hope for the future. Before Death there was Christ; that gives me hope for the resurrection. Before sorrow there was Christ; that gives me a reason for another glimpse of joy. Before the sky cries and the ground is all wet; there is some clearness in mind and thought – that gives me a reason to smile like the sunshine that must come sooner or later.

It must come.
Sooner.
Or later...
I don't care.
It must come.

The paycheck. It must come.
That employment, that future. I can see it clearly now. Everything will change, change for the better.

It surely will.
Now.
And for ever.

Before anything else existed....there was.
Christ.
Alfa and Omega.
Like Father, like Son
Like Milk and Honey

Like U and Me?

It must come to pass.
For better, for worse.
For richer, for poorer.
Sooner or later, I do not care.

But I prefer Sooner...Much Sooner.
