This three-and-a-half year period includes the great tribulation and the day of the Lord, and the great tribulation will fall mostly on the United States and other English-speaking nations as punishment for our national and individual sins, if we don't repent.

Those who survive will go through horrible suffering comparible to what the Jews went through in the Nazi concentration camps.

The Bible does not set dates as to when this period will begin, but it is likely to start during the lifetimes of most people reading this, perhaps within ten years, or maybe fifteen. It could start sooner than ten years.

This punishment will come because of our many sins such as abortion, sexual immorality, using images in worship, our love of pleasure more than our love of God, breaking the weekly seventh-day Sabbath, and failure to observe God's annual holy days and Feasts and instead observing days that come from paganism such as Christmas and Easter.

God's annual feasts and holy days include Passover, the Days of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, the Day of Trumpets, Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day. God ordained these days forever, and God's true Church observes them today.

You can check up on this or not. But if you don't, and these things happen to you, you will remember that you had the opportunity to learn about these things in advance and you chose to ignore it.
