I remember that day very clearly.i had a tiff with someone at college.i was so very upset.and then this thing happened---i reached home and read the newspaper and found these lines which were so inspiring and encouraging that i wont forget them ever.it gave a lot of assurance to me and made my beleif in myself much more stronger.so whenever i feel like low or depressed i just remember these lines.so i decided to share these lines with you people. Here it goes!
"I SHED MY INHIBITIONS.MY FEARS.I TRAVELLED LIGHT.
I traded my stock options for a Lonely Planet.
My cell phone for a compass. My briefcase for a backpack.
I took off.
I wandered in the company of tourists, travellers and a guitar as old as me.I learned that people are good.
Strangers are fascinating.
And that every journey reveals another.
I've lost track of time.
And perhaps my job,my apartment and my fiance`.
But I have my compass
and I know its pointing me in the
right direction."
These lines if read carefully will give meaning to your life.the last lines in particular are very inspiring.i hope u like them and if you do(even if you dont) please send back some comments.Take Care!and yes Enjoy Life!!

#1.Reverence for life says share, give your joy, your love,
your peace,your bliss.Whatsoever you can share,share.
If you are reverent towards life then it becomes worship.
Then everywhere you feel God alive. Then watching a tree
becomes worship;feeding a guest becomes worship.And you
are not obliging anybody, you are not doing a service;you are
simply enjoying yourself. So i want it to be remembered
by you once and for all that reverence for life is my approach.

#2."To the weak,difficulty is a closed door.
To the strong,however,
it is a door waiting to be opened."
"Difficulties impede the progress of
those who are weak. For the strong however,
they are opportunities waiting to open
wide the doors to a bright future.
Everything is determined by our attitude,
by or resolve!" Almafuerte(a Poet)

I had read this book called "How to know God" by a renowed Indian writer Dr.Deepak Chopra.I must say it influenced me to a certain level.I wish i could read the whole book(i am in college!),but some of the lines in that book are worth mentioning and being shared among people.....
The Experience of God feels like flying. It feels like i'm walking above the ground with such equilibrium that nothing can sway me from my path. It's like being the eye of the storm.I see without judgement or opinion.Ijust watch as everything passes in and out of my awareness like clouds.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "SACRED EXPERIENCES"
In the midst of danger, you feel suddenly
cared for and protected.
You deeply fear a crisis in your personal life,
but when it comes, you experience a sudden
calmness.
A stranger makes you feel a sudden rush of love.
An infant or young child looks into your eyes,
and for a second you believe that an old soul is
looking at you.
In presence of death, you feel the passing of
wings.
Looking at the sky,you have a sense of infinite
space.
A stunning glimpse of beauty makes you forget
for a second who you are!

"The Seven Fundamental Choices"
The choice of Fear if you want to struggle and barely survive.
The choice of Power if you want to compete and achieve.
The choice of Inner reflection if you want peace.
The choice to Know yourself if you want insight.
The choice to Create if you want to discover the workings of nature.
The choice to Love if you want to heal others and yourself.
The choice to Be if you want to appreciate the infinite scope of God's creation.

THE VIRTUAL STATE-GOD'S ABODE
"In the beginning,
There was neither existence
nor non-existence,
All this world was unmanifested
energy....
The One breathed,without
breath,by it's own power,
Nothing else was there!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"God cannot be just about you,but the portion of him
that you perceive must be about you, because you are
using your own brain and senses and memory.Since you
are the observer,it is all right to see him through
an image that is meaningful to you"

Well i am certainly not a great poet. But sometimes i just like to write down my thoughts on paper. So here are a few of my thoughts!
"Who's God,no one knows.
Where's he,no one has seen him.
How can you see him,
when he's so near to you.
How can you feel his presence,
when he's just inside you!
God is nothing,but your soul
God is nothing,but the force,
that lets you live.
God is nothing,but reality.
God is nothing,but You!"

"Chronic remorse,as all the moralists are agreed,is a most
undesirable sentiment. If you have behaved badly, repent, make what amends you can
and address yourself to the task of behaving better next time.On no account brood
over your wrongdoing.Rolling in the muck is not the best way of getting clean."
(foreward of 'Brave New World')
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Giving simply because it is right to give,
without the thought of return,at proper time,in proper circumstances,
and to a worthy person,is enlightened giving.
Giving with regrets or in the expectation of receiving some favour or of getting
something in return,is selfish giving.
Bhagavad Gita

#1. The brave and wise man,who intends to overcome his foes, must first of all strive to subdue the internal enemies of his own heart and mind, and the members of his own body...
The kings of the earth in their earthly capitals are not as happy as are the lords
of the cities of their own bodies, masters of their own minds.
(Sage
Vasishta's
percepts to Sri
Rama)
#2.Whatever you honour above all things,
that which you so honour
will have dominion over you.
But if you give your yourself to the
domination of God ,you will thus have
domination over all things.
#3.You can forge the path to a
fulfilling and enjoyable life
if you have the depth of faith
to regard everything that comes
your way as source of creating
happiness and value.

Love is patient,
love is kind.
It doesnot boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love doesnot delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,always hopes
Always perseveres.
Love never fails!!!
