I remember that day very clearly.i had a tiff with someone at college.i was so very upset.and then this thing happened---i reached home and read the newspaper and found these lines which were so inspiring and encouraging that i wont forget them ever.it gave a lot of assurance to me and made my beleif in myself much more stronger.so whenever i feel like low or depressed i just remember these lines.so i decided to share these lines with you people.Here it goes!

"I SHED MY INHIBITIONS.MY FEARS.I TRAVELLED LIGHT.

I traded my stock options for a Lonely Planet.
My cell phone for a compass.My briefcase for a backpack.
I took off.
I wandered in the company of tourists,travellers and a guitar as old as me.I learned that people are good.
Strangers are fascinating.
And that every journey reveals another.
I've lost track of time.
And perhaps my job,my apartment and my fiance`.
But I have my compass
and I know its pointing me in the
right direction."

yes life continues.what these lines basically say is that one should always keep one's faith on your ownself alive and should never let disappoinments stop you from moving on in life because life has its own way of giving things.if at any given day you dont get what you want then then one should not sulk but continue with one's life. i am glad that you read these lines.Thank You!

Hi megha , I wondered my child wrote those lines . I appriciate what u revealed . Life itself is a great journey . U come accross many people . Some r helping , some try to take disadvantage. But then this compass gives us confidence and guide us towards graceful living. Ani
