Heyyy! How do you know I didn't mean a thick local phone book as in for use as a sturdy platform on which to carry Itsy Bitsy Spider outside? left right

Whoa! Then again, upon seeing that photo, a thick phone book might not be sturdy enough to carry that 8-legged Mini Dinosaur. http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Scared.gif - That's no Itsy Bitsy. scared

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Monday, December 19, 2011 4:56:01 PM

Welcome to KZN, home of creatures great and, ur, greater? left .

I second that! bigeyes that's a big one! agghh! yes I can see it's begging to be relocated outdoors, um hmm, yes. up

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Monday, December 19, 2011 5:39:01 PM

it's actually slightly smaller than the one in June. p .
The problem is, how to catch it without harming it. sherlock . (or giving myself a heart attack for that matter! These things can move like lightning when they want to! scared )

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Monday, December 19, 2011 6:11:21 PM

you could always move yourself out and let the ginormous spider have your place. bigsmile

DHdarkesthour Monday, December 19, 2011 7:41:09 PM

You could saddle that and ride it to work bigeyes

Harry...the man!harrytheman Monday, December 19, 2011 7:48:05 PM

You really shouldn't be such a welcoming host...

Suntana Monday, December 19, 2011 9:03:58 PM

Okay ... get its attention with Cheese, like maybe with a 2-pound chunk of it. While it's wolfing that down, shoot it with a Tranquilizing Dart, possibly 2 if need be. Then while it's dazed, throw a Kevlar tarp on it. It's gotta be Kevlar because it would no doubt chew its way through any regular ole tarp out there.

A Taser Gun would be another option.
Of course, if my guessing is wrong, you could possibly just piss it off and THEN you'd be in serious trouble. It might want to relocate YOU! It might tell you like that spooky voice in the movie The Amityville Horror, "GET OUT!" http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/Scared.gif -

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Monday, December 19, 2011 9:29:16 PM

lol .
Like I said, this is KZN. We do things big here. p .
Chuck, I think you're laying on the hyperbole a little thick, even for a Texan. whistle .

KimberlySqueakeyCat Tuesday, December 20, 2011 11:41:06 PM

we had a spider in the house the other night that would put that one to shame. jaxs says its a wood spider, and so did mom.

i'm glad that fkr wasn't in the bedroom when i'd seen it. it was in the livingroom by the door. i made jaxs get back out of bed and take care of it before it got the idea to come into the

bedroom. he had originally sent me out to look at the big lizard on the wall. he didn't see the spider, but i did. next time, i will take a pic of one before i have jaxs squish it.

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Wednesday, December 21, 2011 1:58:13 AM

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Thursday, December 22, 2011 12:06:42 PM

DHdarkesthour Thursday, December 22, 2011 8:18:06 PM

Just hope that this one doesn't invite all its relatives and friends in for a party party

DavidRavo Saturday, December 24, 2011 11:32:39 PM

Hi Qlue; my wife moves spiders out of our home by using an empty fruit jar and a playing card. Jar goes over the spider (open mouth down), playing card slides underneath the jar, then she carries the whole business outside and turns it loose. Works every time with insects and no harm comes to them! yes

Mad Scientist (عادل)qlue Sunday, December 25, 2011 7:51:19 AM

Yes, that's easy with the smaller versions. But It's a lot more difficult with once that's this size. up .
Anyway, I haven't even seen it again since I took that photo. I think my attempts to catch it that night made it decide to relocate itself. yes .
You did notice the cd I placed next to it in that first photo right?
left . I don't have a playing card that big. rolleyeslol .

DavidRavo Sunday, December 25, 2011 2:59:17 PM

Wow, I didn't notice. That's a BIG SPIDER!no

Gynggyng Sunday, December 25, 2011 9:29:17 PM
