HaPPY EID!

We celebrate Christmas here.

nepmak2000 12. December 2008, 19:00

In Spain, where we live, Christmas has no special meaning as you f.ex. see this in Germany, UK or the USA. Instead Three Kings day about January 8th is the day of gifts to children and a 'fiesta'...

qlue 12. December 2008, 19:37

Some churches celebrate Christmas day on the sixth of January. Others celebrate after Easter or don't celebrate it at all. For the Naserath Church (aka Shembe) The 25 of December is a fasting day. Shembes only eat food that was prepared the day before and don't use any kettles, stoves, or heating appliances. They're also meant to take a bath in cold running water on that day.
