i like to listen - to new music especially - on my own
that way i get a better feeling
i'm more likely to like something
when there is no one hanging over me (even metaphorically)
waiting for me to make the judgment

then again
there are times, when you turn something on
and i like it
instantly
in a flash
and you are there
and music sounds better with you...
