FBConTroller v2.0 - (Facebook Control Utility) version 2.0
Tuesday, 15. September 2009, 15:27:40
FBController - The Ultimate Utility to Control Facebook accounts without the Password is now version 2.0
Let me clear this again like last time that this utility WON'T hack/crack Facebook accounts.
The utility will need biscuits/cookies instead of the password.
FBConTroller version 1.0 started with a simple requirement about which I scribbled something here in the past : http://my.opera.com/quakerdoomer/blog/2009/04/26/sharing-your-biscuits-unintenionally
And then it ultimately reached :
http://my.opera.com/quakerdoomer/blog/2009/05/07/looking-for-fbcontroller
and
http://my.opera.com/quakerdoomer/blog/fbcontroller-facebook-controller-the-ultimate-facebook-controller-without-the-pa
==========================
Changes in version 2.0
==========================
- You don't have to provide each and every cookie variable in the command parameter.
Just save your cookie into a file and point FB towards it.
- FBConTroller v2.0 has a menu based Operation making it easier to control.
- FBConTroller as of now can Write on one's own wall, other's wall, Retrieve Profile Page,
Retrieve Friends List and even attempts to Retrieve Inbox and Send Messages.
Many changes have taken place in the FB UI and the Cookie structure. The Detailed list about internal changes is available here :

This is ofcourse not some random tool written to teach myself something but this is more like a toy. A gift to those who like doing things in a different and weird manner. So its for those who would like to see how it feels like reading/writing walls,Inbox messages, etc in a not normal way.
I's just for play purpose. I am sure there are many who would agree that brain kind of gets a unique feeling (an unknown unexplanable feeling) when things are done in a not normal way !
FBConTrolleR is created and maintained (whenever possible) to enable the brain secrete this special juice and to deliver this special experience. It's 12:56 AM AM I making senze??

Click on the Tools Section on the Left Bar. On right section a page will open. Search for FBConTroller in the list.

Quakerdoomer,
I am running GDB above pidgin-facebookchat. There are some problems with buddy list downloading:
In English:
for (;;);{"error":1348009,"errorSummary":"Login Error","errorDescription":"An error occurred. Please try logging in again.","errorIsWarning":false,"payload":null}
In Czech:
for (;;);{"error":1348009,"errorSummary":"Chyba p\u0159i p\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed","errorDescription":"Do\u0161lo k chyb\u011b, zkuste se p\u0159ihl\u00e1sit znovu.","errorIsWarning":false,"payload":null}
I found FBcontroller v1.0 on the internet but can not find FBController v2.0 download link. >>> Download : http://solidmecca.co.nr [ Under Left Side of the Page/Tools] - is not work for me. Please could you be so king and post FBController v2.0 to rapidshare or something similar.
BTW: Do you have opinion why error 1348009 appears? Is it to work if you login into your Facebook account in Firefox, then open new tab and paste URL link: http://www.facebook.com/ajax/chat/buddy_list.php?user=1234567890&popped_out=false&&force_render=true&buddy_list=1&post_form_id=50b4b5977af20ce2e6f04dbc4de1e02a&fb_dtsg=2aRLU&post_form_id_source=AsyncRequest&__a=1
Yours Sincerely,
Petr Novák

I haven't looked much into Facebook AJAX-chat though I might add support for that in FBConTroller. You can post your query on Facebook Developers Forum (though I never found it helpful for my queries. Nobody really replied there)
FBController version 1.0 shouldn't work now as per my understanding.
The websites I host are down because of a broken LAN cable which hooks my FreeBSD webserver box to the switch. Believe me I am more worried than you about this 4 day long Downtime. Will get a new one soon. Check it tomorrow.
Cheers :-)

Hello Azim!
I have just downloaded 2.0, but I'm having trouble getting it to work, even with my own cookies.
I keep getting an "Incorrect cookie or cookie expired" message, and homepage.htm has only a 301 error.
Has Facebook made any breaking changes, or should it still be working? If it should, could you give me any pointers to what might be wrong?
Thanks a lot, and nice work! =)

I see a new variable "lxs=" in the Cookie. I'm not sure whether its because of a missing lxs variable or because FBConTroller 2.0 has still kept backward compatibiity support for old Cookie structure, just in case FB reverts back to the old format (which I've witnessed once)
One other reason could be because of
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
being sent by FBConTroller v2.
I'll update this thread once I fix it.
Thanks Anonymous

FBConTroller is perfectly okay. FB hasn't (as of yet) made any FBConTroller-breaking change. FBC version2 works regardless of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX: XXXXXXXXXXXXX being sent or no.
Maybe you are missing something. Check your Cookie parameters.
The comlete set of variables are :
datr=, locale=, test_cookie=, s_cc=, s_sq=, xs=, c_user=, h_user=, x-referer=, cvr_tx
Minimum required ones are datr, xs, lxe, h_user and c_user
I'll upload a new archive on my webserver which will have the modified binary FBControllerv2.exe containing "lxs=" in a few minutes.
Thanks

I tried both on FF 3.5.3 and IE8, in case that helps.
I've checked the cookie (IE8) and it's got the following variables in it: datr, lxe, lxr, xs, c_user, sid, h_user, openid_p.
At first glance I can notice that lxr, sid, and openid_p seem to be new ones. Strangely enough, I didn't get lxs.
Hope this makes more sense to you than it does for me. =)
Anyway I'll try the new binary tomorrow (as soon as your webserver kicks in) and let you know the results.
Thanks a lot for the quick reply! =D

This is what I read : http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/OpenID_Known_Issues
I've seen FB trying out lots of new cookie ariables just for testing, esp. on Sundays.
"sid" seems to be one of them. Let me know if you meet any success.
Anonymous # 19. October 2009, 06:26
Ok, I've tried the version on your website and managed to connect now using my cookie. (It's a pity that the one I was really interested in seems to have xs, c_user and h_user missing, guess I'm out of luck)
However, the HTML brought back looks truncated at best. I even got a 400/Bad request on the Inbox and IntentPage files.
quakerdoomer # 19. October 2009, 09:53
Any decent search engine should reveal a persons c_user to you. If not a search using FB itself should help. If it still doesn't then you could probably search for your IDs in your target's possible friends List. Through them you might reach back to your target and the c_user should be in the link.
h_user isn't directly visible anywhere on FB as per my knowledge. Though there are chances of obtaining them via any rogue/simple legit Facebook app.
Good Luck

I guess home.php can be loaded without xs. I am not 100% sure whether I had observed this once.
Just for my curiosity : How did you obtain your Target's cookie ?
Anonymous # 21. October 2009, 03:41
Hmmm I don't think I saw that message.
However, I tried again today with the same cookie, and now I'm getting the "Incorrect cookie" error again.
You think Facebook is trying new cookie schemes?
As for my target's cookie, it was nothing fancy. It just was on my other PC, but I guess the session was closed. =)

You wouldn't happen to have a binary or source I can use with a Linux box, would you? I haven't been able to connect to the download site yet, but I could write a script myself with a little help.
quakerdoomer # 22. October 2009, 18:36
I never feel like writing any tool to run on Linux.
I'd rather compile FBConTroller after a few modifications on a BSD Box :-)

Why don't you upload FBConTroller to rapidshare.com or any other file sharing site? That way we won't have to rely on your server to host the file...
Anonymous # 19. November 2009, 15:35
Hello
In the new facebook cookie, you don't find ABT, h_user...
The next scheme is :
datr, lxe, lxs, lxr, c_user, sid, xs, x-referer, presence, cur_max_lag
Is there any new version of FBController including this new scheme of cookie ?
Thanks
