Whatever comes to my mind

Whatever

I'm feeling innovative!

We have heard the word innovation, in so many places, like school, music, work, sports, this competition, etc. Why is this? Because innovation is doing things in different ways, and this would take you to a different result than the one you’re used to. Sometimes these results can be amazing. Every time you do something different, people would stare at you, and sometimes, they would follow you, making a change. Other times people would laugh at you, and say that you’re completely crazy. It’s the same with technology! We have seen some innovative products like the iPod / iTunes Store that changed the way we hear music. Also, there’re some innovations that could make you laugh, like the “SCRATCH MASTER”, which is used for scratching those unreachable places in your back. This product was declared unsafe and banned by the safety council.

Innovation is used, because people want a change, they want more. They want to be faster, stronger, better. This is something very valuable in a competitive world. For example there’re too many web browsers, what’s the difference if they all do the same thing; navigate through the web. But Opera had a different idea about how a browser should be, and they became to be different by adding great features like tabbed browsing, speed dial, sessions, notes, etc. Also, they analyzed what the user is doing in the web (social network, sharing files, email, etc.), and they integrated it into a single application. Now you don’t need to download a bunch of software applications to read email, download torrents, write/send notes, etc; you just use Opera.

There’s a new version coming, and you don’t expect to have the same browser with a new interface or skin. That’s why Opera is adding Opera Unite, a new service that will allow to work like a server. By hosting your own website, sharing files without uploading them, being your own “YouTube” by streaming audio or video. I started using all these features and I felt like being the host of a great party, because everything comes from my computer.

Innovation is also a lifestyle, so what are you waiting for?

Start using Opera!

That safety council has been a thorn in our backsides for far too long.

Let the people scratch, I say!

a couple tweaks to the scratch master and you'd make a killing out of XXX sites

Gyrobo Wednesday, August 12, 2009 3:02:13 AM

He'd have to run any changes by the safety council, though.

Obsessions and lifestyles can lead into each other.

Thanks guys, I also agree with Gyrobo, that lifestyles and obsessions can lead into each other.

I wonder how we can see who's favorited an article ?

Gyrobo Friday, August 14, 2009 5:27:13 PM

Everyone has a "favo(u)rites" tab on their profile.

That's how I found out when someone accidentally voted for my blog instead of the article.
