the Indigoの７枚目のアルバムですが、オリジナルアルバムの前作「Flair」はゆったりした曲調のなかにメッセージ性の強い詩が多く、特に後半の曲は一曲一曲に「重み」のある曲が多い気がしました。（とてもいいアルバムです）
それに比べると、今回のアルバムは全体的に「明るい！」「さわやか！」というイメージがあります。
なので、前作よりも「軽い」ふわふわした感覚で聞けます。ドライブの時に聞くとピッタリです。
特に１曲目の終わりから２曲目「CLOSE TO YOU」の曲の入り、また英語詩の１０曲目（大人！）から１１曲目「BIRTHDAY」の曲の入りがとても鮮やかで、目が覚めます（＾＾）；

As a fan of ethereal electronica I make an extreme effort to seek out new, talented musicians, who can invoke emotions in me through the music they create. When I first stumbled across Sleepthief a couple years ago on Auralgasms.com I was instantly drawn in and almost bewitched by the lush quality and achingly beautiful musical soundscapes that Justin Elswick has come up with. The songs are all unique and compelling. The electronica tinged beats and swirling female vocals will entice ANYONE who listens to this album! The first track I ever listened to was Eurydice, which feature the otherworldy, seductive vocal stylings of Jody Quine. Jody has worked with Delerium and Balligomingo and has one of the most BEAUTIFUL voices I have ever heard. Eurydice grabs the listener and takes them on a journey. The song is almost otherworldly! Once you hear this song you are completely under Justin's spell and yearning for more. 'Desire Of Ages' entwines middle eastern vibes, slinky beats and the always sexy musings of Shelly Harland (who has also worked with Delerium and is a big fave of trip hop followers). 'You Did A Good Thing' highlights Nicola Hitchcock's (formerly of Mandalay)wispy voice and brings a calm and lovely vibe to the disc. Other highlights on the album include 'Just Say It', 'Kiss To Savor', and 'Entre Ciel Et Mer'. The music on this album is amazing and I would recommend it to EVERYONE! Fans of Delerium, Balligomingo, Enigma, Conjure One, Magna Canta, and other exotic, sensual, and electronica enhanced artists will REALLY appreciate this cd. Justin is so talented and I can't wait to hear more from him (Not to mention the fact that he is incredibly modest and kind to his fans-heck, I am even thanked in the liner notes-that's how much he loves his fans!) Swedish female vocalist whispers melancholy background music. Sometimes the melodies are pronounced enough to be more than that so that it sounds like the Cardigans, but otherwise a good example of seamless "chill out" music that one listens to. Fans of this genre will want to check out Morcheeba, Departure Lounge, Sweet Trip, Color Filter, Airiel, Brazaville, Gentle People, Ronderlin and LeMans.
i don't know what they put in that scandanavian water, but the region puts out some of the finest pop music around. club 8 is another in a long line of stellar pop acts releasing stellar albums.
the follow up to the amazing 'spring came, rain fell,' sees johann and karolina more focused than on previous efforts. earlier albums were chocked tightly written pop songs, sprinkled with occasional brief experimental-sounding musical interludes. not so on 'strangely beautiful.' this, their most recent album, listens more like a greatest hits collection. it's hit after hit after hit. gone are the little snippits and present are simply great pop songs. johann, it seems, is more confident in his songwriting skills and karolina sounds like that girl you see making eyes at you from across the room, only to bolt for the door once you make your move. she doesn't have the greatest voice in the world (and that's not to say she doesn't have a great voice--it's just a bit thin, but effective) but she doesn't need to. johann's arrangements and melodies are more than enough to carry 'strangely beautiful' to beautiful heights.
like any good popmeister, johann brought some new influences to 'strangely beautiful.' while all the songs on the this album are definitely synthy/electronicky fairs, it's nice to hear the jazzy, bossanova-y influences. here's hoping their next album sees them take their music even futher.
'strangely beautiful' is probably club 8's best, most cohesive album. there's really not a dud nor a dull moment on the album. with 'spring came, rain fell' running a close second. if you area savvy pop music afficionado (and you know who you are), club 8 is your drug.Track Listings:

这是Maike Von Bremen去年发行的个人第一张专辑，来自德国的美女。嗓音充满女性成熟的魅力、抹着点伤感，电气化的旋律口径比较统一，很流畅，很上耳。一路听下去就像潺潺的小桥流水，缺点就是缺乏了点起伏。第一首《More Than This》跟末尾的那首《More Than This》名字、旋律一样，但末尾那首是重新编曲过的。

Bei mir lft die CD hoch und runter seit sie in meinem Nikolausstiefel gesteckt hat.
Ich finde Maike von Bremen hat eine sehr angenehme Stimme, die Lieder sind wundersch melodisch.. einfach genau das richtige, wenn man sowas mag.
Ich finde auch nicht, dass alle Lieder gleich klingen..
Wer "More than this" gern ht, dem wird auch das Album gefallen.
Ich habe den Kauf auf jeden Fall nicht eine Sekunde bereut!
Maike von Bremen hat mit ihrem Deb ein Album auf den Markt gebracht, das eine allerfeinste Mischung aus Brit-Pop und unter die Haut gehenden Liedern entht. Im Cover verspricht sie traurige, sinnliche, sehnsuchtsvolle, heitere, wende, vertrmte, frliche, romantische... Songs - und genau dieses Versprechen ht sie ein. "More than this" lst auf den Rest der auf der CD enthaltenen Stke schlin - im positiven Sinne selbstverstdlich. Mir ist eine sehr enge Verwandtschaft zur Musik von Dido aufgefallen, besonders bei "Charity" und "Closer", und ein wenig vermag ich auch Juliane Werding herauszuhen. Maikes Stimme hingegen ist leiser, feiner, zerbrechlicher, nicht so kraftvoll, und das - finde ich - passt hervorragend insbesondere zu ihren Balladen und macht sie damit trotz der nicht zu erhenden nlichkeit mit den Dido-Songs wieder unverwechselbar und einzigartig. "Closer" ist ein Album mit Liedern, die unter die Haut gehen. Es ist ein wahrer akustischer Genuss zum Trmen, Immer-wieder-Anhen und Mitsingen.Track Listings:

高鈴的第二辑，她的唱腔真的很特别，低沉婉约却高亢，一般人很难模仿得来。《いろどおり》当中收录的很多歌蛮耐听的。扑面温暖的微风夹杂着雨后清新的气息，一阵舒服。
