Sometimes, so find my life kind of messy, inorder. I have been in Edmonton, Canada more than 2 months, but haven't really try to figure out my life here.
I did some travel, attended some activities, and worked hard on study; but still, I'm feeling there's something I left behind. I haven't really shared my feelings and thoughts for a while, and now I want to start it again cause I realize when you are opening yourself to others, you are discovering more about yourself. And that is the most impressive thing I got from my ongoing exchange experience.
The best thing about exchange is you are trying to get to know people you are so unfamiliar with, get so close to a culture which you don't belong to, get to discover how amazing the world is. And most importantly, you find another yourself you never know before, regardless it's good or bad.
Time is always flying when you are enjoying something. And my exchange period is almost at the end, only one month left. The only thing I can do is holding it and enjoying it till the last one second.
I've seen your comment on my post, but I don't think I can give you good enough suggestions. But I found a useful article by my friend Jon. It may be helpful for you. Check it by clicking the following word. Learning English
I haven't posted new items on my blog for a long time. Sorry to keep you waiting! During these weeks, I did my volunteer work in community service, had hiking again in Hong Kong, rode bicycle with friends before Easter......what a mess. But there's an unfortunately thing (remind me of the movie) that I sprained my knee last Saturday when having a match in campus. I was sent to hospital and had to stay in hospital for 2 days, and now I can only walk with scrutches and "speedy recovery" will probably be at least 4-5 months. An operation is wheter needed or not can only be determined after MRI. And I'll try to arrange this on Friday. I have to stay in my room, that's why I can post this during my last week of the semester. Don't worry too much for me, it's gonna be ok, everything is on its track! Believe in me! Thanks.
Wow, really happy to be able to go hiking this weekend! I made it finally, pretty wonderful travel. How touching the wonderful 6 hours are! I don't know how to express that kind of feelings, the natural beauty and the people are beyond my words.
My friends said my partner and I did a good job in our contest. To be frank, I am not so confident about entrying the final until today I got the e-mail. Wow, really amazing and exciting!! I just nearly creamed out when I checked the mails. Gosh, in my maths class!! Well, a good beginning, but still a long way to go. We'll try to give our best. Thank you all!!
Wow, I'll take part in a inter-hall singing contest tonight! I think it's great to have the chance standing on the stage and singing out in front of so many people. I don't know whether it would be a good idea or not that I told many of my friends what I'm gonna do and invited them to come. But,uuh, I hope it would be wonderful. To be frank, I don't really care a lot about the final results, I enjoy singing aloud with my partner. Guess what, which song we chose? Haha~~, finally we agreed to sing "complicated" from Avril. Not too difficult, but never easy.
I'll show my best on the stage and wait for my latest news here!
Yes, we did!And we did it great!! My partner and I really tried our best to give a perfect show, at least I think we've done that. Hope that the judges would agree.
Thank you all, my friends!! You gave me the courage and power! I'll post our video later after some converting and splitting.Take a look at the pics first.
