my sis just moved into a new place and she's feeling a bit down and overwhelmed, so i thought i'd make her a cd she can listen to while unpacking and organizing stuff... well that's all nice and dandy right? right... except she requested an uplifting and a cheerful one... hmm... let's see what i got... the doors, the cure, kmfdm, nitzer ebb? i don't think so... i can't send her the sound of music!!!! that's way too lame, even for me.... so... any cheerful and uplifting suggestions from my opera friends? :D

when it rains - coffee or tea?happy thanksgiving to all

hrmm I like metal stuff, never really "uplifting" unless she wants to bang her head against the wall and then lift it off the floor.

Just got myself Paul Pottts's "One Chance" CD. Very chest-lifting.

I don't know if they're uplifting but they make you sing/hum along...
Dandy Warholes-Bohemian like you
John Butler Trio-Zebra
Umm...hmm...why are there so many songs about 'oh why did you leave me'...'it'll never be the same'...and 'im sad and lonely'
Spice Girls? P:
