i'd like to get a box of chocolates on monday, august 18th instead...

i like to send flowers as much as i like getting them...

i don't like pink!

i don't need to go to a fancy restaurant to have a romantic dinner...

people who send roses on valentine's day lack imagination...

if i see another cupid or diamond jewelry commercial i'll shoot myself...

i have no clue about what kind of presents guys like to get on a day like this...

shouldn't we show love to those we care about 365 days a year?

My friend bought tickets for her then-boyfriend to go on a jet boat for V Day. They broke up about a week before...so then she had to go on the jet boat.

It's much nicer to receive flowers or a flower when you're not expecting it

I couldn't agree more. It sucks to get stuff because someone has to buy you stuff. Getting it because they want to surprise you - that's fun!

Well, since you asked... Perhaps a food processor - this is the new millenium, after all.

In my house, I get a lot more use out of both the vacuum and the kitchem implements than does anyone else

My archaic values defy my reality.

LOL... awww... i can definitely appreciate state of the art kitchen appliances

i prefer the swiffer to vacuum, all i got is hardwood floors and bamboo rugs... dust bunnies get scared and hide when the see the vaccum... lol

and just say awesome post, i totally agree with you that valentines 'day' has gotten way of track

It's a sham marrage between Hallmark and Nestle and we are the unloved offspring begging for attention (i don't think the flower producers get much the rest of the year so i'm absonarising them lol)
